Jouw nieuwe baan Regelmatige werktijden en ruimte voor persoonlijk contact geven deze functie een ander karakter dan veel andere artsenbanen. Als leefstijlarts begeleid je mensen met ernstig overgewicht binnen een zelfstandige kliniek. De behandeling richt zich op duurzame gedragsverandering en het voorkomen van gezondheidsproblemen op langere termijn. Je bewaakt de medische ontwikkeling tijdens trajecten voor gewichtsreductie en gewichtsstabilisatie. Ook voer je diagnostiek uit tijdens de screening, vraag je uitslagen op en interpreteer je deze. Daarnaast geef je individuele sessies en groepssessies en ben je voor collega's en patiënten het aanspreekpunt bij specifieke medische vragen. Samen met een bewegingsdeskundige, psycholoog, diëtist, internist en chirurg werk je aan de behandeling. Wekelijks neem je deel aan het multidisciplinair overleg met 1 van de chirurgen. De functie biedt daarnaast mogelijkheden om onderzoek te doen, deel te nemen aan de Medische Psychologische Raad, collega's bij te scholen en mee te werken aan beleid. Jouw nieuwe werkplek Deze obesitaskliniek heeft al ruim 25 jaar ervaring met bariatrie en staat in Nederland en het buitenland bekend als expert op dit gebied. Verspreid over het land heeft deze kliniek 10 vestigingen die zeer goede behandelresultaten hebben. Jij werkt in de vestiging in Den Haag. Er is sprake van een platte organisatiestructuur en een informele werksfeer. Medewerkers zijn zeer betrokken bij de patiënten én bij elkaar!
