Bij ibis Aalst draait hospitality om meer dan een vlotte check-in. Het gaat om gasten oprecht welkom laten voelen, een sterk team creëren en ervoor zorgen dat de dagelijkse hotelwerking vlot en professioneel verloopt.

Als Assistant Front Office Manager werk je nauw samen met de General Manager en speel je een belangrijke rol in de dagelijkse Front Office werking. Je coacht en ondersteunt het team, bewaakt de kwaliteit en zorgt voor een nauwkeurige operationele én administratieve opvolging.

Je bent zichtbaar op de werkvloer, houdt het overzicht en steekt zelf de handen uit de mouwen wanneer dat nodig is.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Het Front Office team mee aansturen, coachen en motiveren.
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor medewerkers tijdens de dagelijkse operatie.
  • Nieuwe collega's onthalen, opleiden en begeleiden.
  • Zorgen voor een professionele en gastvrije service.
  • De Accor- en ibis-kwaliteitsstandaarden bewaken.
  • Gasttevredenheid en online reviews opvolgen.
  • De dagelijkse Front Office operatie organiseren en opvolgen.
  • Administratieve processen, procedures, kascontroles en rapporteringen nauwkeurig opvolgen.
  • Personeelsplanning, uurroosters, vakanties en afwezigheden mee opvolgen.
  • Operationele problemen zelfstandig aanpakken en waar nodig bespreken met de General Manager.
  • Zorgen voor een goede samenwerking met Housekeeping, F&B en Maintenance.
  • Zelf operationeel meewerken wanneer dat nodig is.

Wie ben jij?

Je hebt ervaring binnen Front Office of hospitality en bent klaar om meer verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen. Misschien ben je vandaag Supervisor, Shift Leader, Duty Manager of Assistant Front Office Manager en zoek je een volgende stap.

Je bent gastgericht, hands-on en durft leiding te nemen. Je motiveert en ondersteunt collega's, maar weet ook wanneer je moet bijsturen. Je werkt georganiseerd en nauwkeurig en behoudt het overzicht, ook op drukke momenten.

Wat breng jij mee?

  • Relevante ervaring binnen Front Office of hospitality.
  • Leidinggevende ervaring is een sterke troef.
  • Ervaring met het begeleiden en coachen van collega's.
  • Sterke organisatorische en administratieve vaardigheden.
  • Zelfstandigheid, verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en oplossingsgerichtheid.
  • Goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels; Frans is een pluspunt.
  • Ervaring met hotel- en PMS-systemen; Accor-systemen zijn een pluspunt.
  • Flexibiliteit om mee te draaien in de operatie, inclusief avonden en weekends wanneer nodig.
  • Een positieve mindset en gezonde dosis humor.
