Restaurant Boury is op zoek naar een gemotiveerde en gepassioneerde assistent-sommelier om het hospitalityteam te versterken.

Als onderdeel van een van Europa's toonaangevende fine-diningrestaurants draag je bij aan een uitzonderlijke gastenbeleving dankzij je wijnkennis, oog voor detail en passie voor gastvrijheid.

Je werkt nauw samen met de Sommelier en ondersteunt hem bij het verzorgen van een verfijnde wijnservice die perfect aansluit bij de keuken en de hoge kwaliteitsstandaarden van Boury.

Deze functie biedt je de kans om je wijnkennis verder uit te bouwen, te werken met uitzonderlijke wijnen en je professioneel te ontwikkelen binnen een ambitieus en internationaal gerenommeerd restaurant.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je ondersteunt de Sommelier bij de dagelijkse voorbereiding en organisatie van de wijn- en drankenservice.
  • Je helpt bij het presenteren en serveren van wijnen tijdens de service.
  • Je begeleidt gasten bij hun wijnkeuze en adviseert over foodpairing, onder begeleiding van de Sommelier.
  • Je bouwt je kennis op van wijnen, wijnproducenten, regio's, jaargangen en trends.
  • Je neemt deel aan wijnproeverijen, opleidingen en productgerichte trainingen.
  • Je helpt bij het organiseren van de wijnkelder en het beheren en controleren van de voorraad.
  • Je waakt over de correcte bewaring, behandeling en presentatie van wijnen en andere dranken.
  • Je respecteert steeds de hoogste normen op het vlak van service, hygiëne en professionaliteit.
  • Je draagt bij aan een positieve en collegiale werksfeer.
  • Je hebt een oprechte passie voor wijn, gastronomie en fine dining.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring in de horeca, idealiter binnen fine dining of wijnservice.
  • Je beschikt over een basiskennis tot goede kennis van wijn, wijnservice en foodpairing.
  • Je spreekt goed Nederlands.
  • Kennis van het Engels is een groot pluspunt.
  • Je bent leergierig en gemotiveerd om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, hebt oog voor detail en blijft rustig onder druk.
  • Je bent flexibel, proactief en werkt graag in teamverband.
  • Je hebt een professionele houding en stelt de gastbeleving centraal.
