The posting

Onze klant is een machinebouwer van componenten tot complete machines en bijbehorende software. Met productielocaties en teams in de VS, Europa en Azië hebben ze een internationale reikwijdte.

Om hun engineering team in Gent uit te breiden, zoeken ze een Ingenieur Automatisatie met volgende taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor PLC-machinebesturing en SCADA-programmering voor nieuwe machines. Dit omvat het afstemmen van het installatieschema met betrekking tot automatisering met de projectmanager.
  • Je maakt of wijzigt de functionele beschrijving van de machine.
  • Je verzorgt de functionele eindinspectie vóór verzending van de te installeren goederen.
  • Verder help je bij upgrades en service-interventies voor machines op klantlocaties.
  • Je bepaalt de PLC- en netwerkcomponenten in overleg met de ingenieur elektriciteit en projectmanager.

Je bent een master in elektrotechniek - automatisering of een vergelijkbaar vakgebied met een focus op automatisering/elektriciteit.Je hebt reeds een aantal jaar ervaring als automatiseringsingenieur bij een machinebouwbedrijf maar ook gedreven juniors komen in aanmerking.Je hebt expertise in PLC-machinebesturing en programmering, vooral met Siemens (TIA Portal, Step7) en minstens één andere (Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff, Schneider, ...).Ervaring met verschillende procesvisualisatiesystemen zoals WinCC, Wonderware en iFIX is een plus.Je kunt elektrische schema's lezen en begrijpen.Affiniteit met IT-programmeertalen (.NET, C++, C#, SQL, ...) is een plus.Je kunt prioriteiten stellen en zelfstandig werken zonder teamgeest te verliezen.Je hebt een hands-on persoonlijkheid en een commerciële/klantgerichte mindset.Je bent bereid internationaal te reizen (tot 30%).Je spreekt vloeiend Engels en bij voorkeur ook Nederlands.
