Als Automation Engineer Machinebouw met ervaring ben je verantwoordelijk voor de PLC-besturing en SCADA-programmatie van nieuwe machines en installaties. Je neemt ownership over het automatisatieluik en volgt dit technisch op van engineering en programmatie tot testing en uiteindelijke installatie bij de klant.

Concreet zal je als Automation Engineer Machinebouw met ervaring:

  • Instaan voor de PLC-programmatie en machinebesturing van nieuwe hoogtechnologische machines en installaties.
  • SCADA- en visualisatiesystemen programmeren en configureren.
  • De automatisatieplanning afstemmen met de Project Manager en ervoor zorgen dat de verschillende projectdeadlines worden gehaald.
  • Functionele beschrijvingen voor machines opstellen, aanpassen en verder uitwerken.
  • De automatisatiesoftware functioneel testen en de finale technische controle uitvoeren vóór machines worden verzonden.
  • Ondersteuning bieden tijdens de installatie en commissioning van machines bij internationale klanten.
  • Meewerken aan upgrades, optimalisaties en service-interventies op bestaande machines.
  • PLC-, netwerk- en automatisatiecomponenten selecteren in overleg met de Electrical Engineer en Project Manager.
  • Elektrische schema's interpreteren en gebruiken bij de ontwikkeling en troubleshooting van machinebesturingen.
  • Technische problemen analyseren en zelfstandig tot een geschikte oplossing komen.
  • Nauw samenwerken met collega's uit onder andere Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering en Project Management.
  • Regelmatig internationaal reizen voor projecten, interventies en ondersteuning bij klanten, tot ongeveer 30% van je werktijd.

Je hebt ruime ervaring met PLC-gestuurde machines en voelt je thuis in een complexe machinebouwomgeving.

Als Automation Engineer Machinebouw met ervaring herken je jezelf in volgende zaken:

  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma Elektrotechniek, Automatisering of een vergelijkbare technische opleiding met een sterke focus op elektriciteit en automatisatie.
  • Je hebt minimaal 10 jaar relevante ervaring als Automation Engineer binnen een machinebouwomgeving.
  • Je beschikt over uitgebreide kennis van PLC-programmatie en machinebesturing.
  • Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van Siemens, waaronder TIA Portal en Step7.
  • Daarnaast heb je ervaring met minstens één ander PLC-platform, zoals Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff of Schneider.
  • Je hebt ervaring met SCADA- en procesvisualisatiesystemen zoals WinCC, Wonderware en/of iFIX.
  • Je kunt elektrische schema's vlot lezen en interpreteren.
  • Je hebt kennis van servomotiontechnologie.
  • Affiniteit met IT en programmeertalen zoals .NET, C++, C# en SQL is een pluspunt.
  • Je kunt zelfstandig prioriteiten bepalen en organiseren zonder daarbij de samenwerking met het team uit het oog te verliezen.
  • Je bent hands-on, oplossingsgericht en technisch sterk.
  • Je hebt een klantgerichte ingesteldheid.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft daarnaast vlot Engels vanwege de internationale projecten en klanten.
  • Je bent bereid om internationaal te reizen, tot ongeveer 30% van je werktijd.
