Voor onze klant te Geraardsbergen zoeken we een Automation Egnineer.

Ben jij het sturingsbrein achter onze machines?

Als Automation Engineer zorg jij ervoor dat onze machines tot leven komen.

Je ontwerpt de aansturingsarchitectuur en schrijft de software die alles aandrijft- van beweging tot veiligheid.

Jouw rol:

• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de functionele werking van onze machines en werkt samen met verschillende interne afdelingen en externe leveranciers om projecten succesvol af te ronden.

• Je verzorgt de functionele beschrijving en het documenteren van je programma’s.

• Je staat in voor de programmatie (PLC/HMI/Motion/Safety) en het testen van onze machines in ons atelier.

• Je werkt samen met de afdeling Electrical Engineering voor nieuwe ontwikkelingen.

• Je biedt ondersteuning aan productie bij de opstart van onze machines.

• Je bent bereid om occasioneel naar klanten te reizen om de opstart van nieuwe machines te optimaliseren en eventuele opstartproblemen in de praktijk op te lossen.

• Je schrijft de gebruikershandleidingen en de startup manuals.

• Je voorziet de klant van de nodige service achteraf, van op afstand of ter plaatse bij de klant.

Profiel

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring binnen industriële automatiserings- of machinebouwprojecten.
  • Je hebt een eerste relevante werkervaring (minimaal 3 jaar).
  • Je hebt ervaring met PLC-programmatie. Kennis van Omron en Siemens is een meerwaarde.
  • Een praktische kennis van de machinerichtlijn en machineveiligheid is een troef.
  • Je hebt een analytische mindset en werkt gestructureerd, met oog voor detail.
  • Je bent een echte problem solver.
  • Je bent hands-on en gaat geen technische uitdaging uit de weg.
  • Je bent een positief ingestelde teamplayer die ook zelfstandig projecten kan trekken
  • Je bent stressbestendig en kan omgaan met deadlines.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels; kennis van Frans is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent flexibel naar buitenlandse verplaatsingen.
