The posting

Als basisverpleegkundige in het WZC Damiaan bied je warme, kwaliteitsvolle en persoonsgerichte zorg aan de bewoners van het woonzorgcentrum. Je werkt binnen jouw wettelijk bevoegdheidskader en neemt zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid op in minder complexe zorgsituaties. Bij meer complexe zorgvragen werk je nauw samen met de verpleegkundige verantwoordelijk voor algemene zorg (VVAZ) en/of de behandelende arts.

Concreet omvat jouw functie onder meer:

  • uitvoeren van verpleegkundige zorgen en handelingen binnen jouw bevoegdheden;
  • voorbereiden en toedienen van medicatie volgens voorschrift en geldende procedures;
  • observeren en opvolgen van de fysieke, psychische en psychosociale toestand van bewoners;
  • signaleren van veranderingen in de gezondheidstoestand en deze correct rapporteren;
  • actief meewerken aan het opstellen en uitvoeren van het verpleegplan;
  • correct registreren van zorgen en observaties in het (elektronisch) zorgdossier;
  • verlenen van palliatieve zorg en begeleiden van bewoners en familie bij het levenseinde;
  • informeren, ondersteunen en begeleiden van bewoners en hun naasten;
  • zorgen voor een warm onthaal en begeleiding van nieuwe bewoners;
  • ondersteunen bij dagelijkse verzorging, comfortzorg, voeding en hydratatie;
  • geven van aanwijzingen en instructies aan zorgkundigen.

Daarnaast krijg je de kans om, in overleg met je leidinggevende, deel te nemen aan werkgroepen rond thema’s zoals dementie, palliatieve zorg, valpreventie of voeding. Je kan ook optreden als referentiepersoon binnen een specifiek domein en zo mee bouwen aan kwaliteitsvolle zorg binnen het woonzorgcentrum.

Wij zijn op zoek naar een enthousiaste basisverpleegkundige met een passie voor warme en kwaliteitsvolle zorg.

Herken jij jezelf in onderstaand profiel?

  • in het bezit van een diploma basisverpleegkunde of binnenkort afgestudeerd;
  • sterk in zelfstandig werken én een echte teamspeler;
  • sociaal, empathisch en met oprechte aandacht voor bewoners en hun familie;
  • vlotte communicator met sterke luistervaardigheden; nauwkeurig, verantwoordelijk en betrokken in de dagelijkse zorgverlening;
  • flexibel ingesteld en in staat om vlot om te gaan met veranderende situaties;
  • gedreven door kwaliteit, veiligheid en bewonersgerichte zorg;
  • vertrouwd met hygiëne- en infectiepreventiemaatregelen en het belang ervan;
  • goede kennis van het Nederlands en/of Frans, afhankelijk van de regio van het woonzorgcentrum.

Ervaring in de ouderenzorg is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste. Motivatie, betrokkenheid en een warm hart voor zorg vinden wij minstens even belangrijk.
