Binnen onze buitenschoolse opvang op De Vlindertuin zetten we bewust in op inclusie. Naast kinderen uit het gewoon onderwijs vangen we er ook een aantal kinderen uit het buitengewoon onderwijs op.

Daarom zoeken we een halftijdse begeleider die niet alleen graag met kinderen werkt, maar ook oog heeft voor kinderen die nét wat meer of andere ondersteuning nodig hebben.

Je werkt in de eerste plaats mee als begeleider op De Vlindertuin. Daarnaast zetten we jouw ervaring en kennis rond inclusie ook breder in: wanneer collega's op andere opvanglocaties vragen hebben over de begeleiding van een kind met specifieke ondersteuningsnoden, kan je met hen meedenken en advies geven.

JOUW TAKEN

Tijdens de opvanguren ben je gewoon deel van het team op De Vlindertuin. Je staat mee tussen de kinderen en zorgt samen met je collega's voor een warme, veilige en fijne vrije tijd.

Je:

  • begeleidt kinderen tijdens de voor- en naschoolse opvang;
  • creëert mee een omgeving waarin ieder kind zich welkom en betrokken kan voelen;
  • hebt bijzondere aandacht voor kinderen die extra ondersteuning nodig hebben;
  • observeert wat een kind nodig heeft en zoekt mee naar haalbare manieren om daarop in te spelen;
  • ondersteunt kinderen waar nodig bij structuur, communicatie, sociale interactie, prikkelverwerking of deelname aan activiteiten;
  • denkt samen met collega's na over wat werkt en helpt om afspraken consequent toe te passen;
  • communiceert respectvol met kinderen, ouders en collega's;
  • draagt mee zorg voor een inclusieve werking waarin we kijken naar de mogelijkheden van ieder kind.

Daarnaast neem je binnen onze ruimere buitenschoolse opvang een ondersteunende rol rond inclusie op.

Wanneer een team op een andere locatie een kind opvangt met specifieke ondersteuningsnoden, kan je gevraagd worden om mee te kijken, ervaringen uit te wisselen en praktisch advies te geven. Je neemt de begeleiding niet van het team over, maar helpt collega's om zelf verder te kunnen met het kind.

Bij De Vijfling geloven we dat buitenschoolse opvang méér is dan toezicht voor en na school. Het is vrije tijd: tijd om te spelen, te ontspannen, te ontdekken en jezelf te mogen zijn.

Dat willen we voor ieder kind.

Inclusie betekent voor ons niet dat ieder kind exact hetzelfde nodig heeft. We kijken naar het individuele kind, naar wat het nodig heeft om deel te kunnen nemen en naar wat haalbaar is binnen de groep.

We doen niet hetzelfde als de school, maar we kijken wél op dezelfde manier naar kinderen.

JOUW PROFIEL

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand met een warm hart voor kinderen én een bijzondere interesse in inclusieve opvang.

Je:

  • kijkt naar wat een kind wél kan en zoekt van daaruit naar mogelijkheden;
  • kan gedrag observeren en proberen begrijpen wat erachter zit;
  • blijft rustig wanneer een situatie uitdagend wordt;
  • kan je aanpak aanpassen aan verschillende kinderen;
  • werkt graag samen en deelt je kennis op een toegankelijke manier met collega's;
  • kan advies geven zonder de werking van een team over te nemen;
  • communiceert open en respectvol met ouders en collega's;
  • bent betrouwbaar, flexibel en neemt verantwoordelijkheid op.

Ervaring met kinderen met specifieke ondersteuningsnoden of binnen het buitengewoon onderwijs is voor deze functie een belangrijke meerwaarde.

Afhankelijk van je diploma word je verloond volgens barema B2A of B1B van PC 331.
