The posting

Voor een snelgroeiende organisatie uit regio Gent gaan we momenteel op zoek naar versterking op het Data & BI-team. De groep ondersteunt meer dan 300 medewerkers verspreid 25 vestigingen. Door aanhoudende groei, recente overnames en een toenemende behoefte aan betrouwbare data, zoekt het bedrijf een gedreven BI-Specialist om samen te bouwen aan één centraal en betrouwbaar datafundament.

In deze rol maak je deel uit van het Data & BI-team en werk je nauw samen met collega's uit Business Applications, ICT en externe partners. Je overbrugt de brug tussen de business en technologie door bedrijfsprocessen te analyseren en behoeften om te zetten in duurzame data-oplossingen.

Naast het bouwen van rapporten leg je mee de basis voor een moderne data-omgeving waarin medewerkers via AI en Copilot eenvoudig inzichten kunnen verwerven uit bedrijfsdata.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je analyseert businessvragen, processen, KPI's en rapporteringsbehoeften en vertaalt deze naar duurzame data- en analyse-oplossingen.
  • Je integreert en modelleert data uit ERP, CRM, e-commerce en PIM om gebruiksvriendelijke Power BI-rapporten te ontwikkelen.
  • Je bewaakt de datakwaliteit, uniforme definities, performantie, beveiliging en het toegangsbeheer over de verschillende groepsbedrijven heen.
  • Je bereidt datasets en semantische modellen voor zodat gebruikers via Copilot en natuurlijke taal betrouwbare inzichten kunnen verkrijgen.
  • Je neemt ownership van analyse tot oplevering en werkt nauw samen met de Data Engineer, IT en externe partners.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma en hebt enkele jaren relevante ervaring in een data-, BI- of analyticsomgeving.
  • Je hebt grondige ervaring met Power BI, DAX en SQL, gecombineerd met inzicht in datamodellering.
  • Je denkt analytisch en conceptueel, begrijpt bedrijfsprocessen vlot en weet sterke relaties op te bouwen met stakeholders.
  • Je communiceert professioneel in het Nederlands en kunt vlot samenwerken met Franstalige collega's.
  • Je bent bereid om je regelmatig te verplaatsen naar de verschillende vestigingen van de groep.
