Een logistieke dienstverlener met internationale activiteiten staat voor een concrete uitdaging: de financiële opvolging groeit niet mee met de operationele complexiteit. Rapporten komen er, maar de vertaalslag naar beslissingen blijft stroef. De organisatie zoekt een Business Controller die dat gat dicht.

Onze klant is een groeiende speler in de logistieke sector, actief over meerdere markten, met een duidelijke focus op het verduurzamen van de eigen activiteiten. De financiële afdeling is compact maar heeft directe toegang tot het beslissingsniveau. Lijnen zijn kort, verwachtingen zijn concreet

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als Business Controller:

  • Je bouwt maandelijkse budgetten en forecasts op en analyseert afwijkingen ten opzichte van de actuals, zodat het management op basis van je bevindingen gericht kan bijsturen.
  • Je volgt operationele en financiële KPI's op, verdiept je in marges en zet ruwe data om naar informatie die bruikbaar is voor mensen die beslissingen nemen.
  • Je trekt samen op met collega's uit operationele afdelingen: je stelt de vragen die anderen laten liggen en helpt teams scherper kijken naar hun eigen cijfers, zonder dat dit aanvoelt als controle.
  • Je stroomlijnt bestaande financiële processen en verbetert hoe data door de organisatie beweegt, van invoer tot rapportering.
  • Je werkt mee aan strategische business cases die de verdere groei van de organisatie onderbouwen met cijfermatige argumenten die er werkelijk toe doen.

  • Je beschikt over een master- of bachelordiploma in een economische of financiële richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 2 jaar ervaring in een rol als (Business) Controller
