Ben jij een ervaren financial die strategisch inzicht combineert met een sterke analytische aanpak? Wil je niet alleen rapporteren over cijfers, maar ook actief meedenken over de verdere groei en optimalisatie van een organisatie?

Voor onze klant zijn we op zoek naar een Business Controller die de brug vormt tussen finance en operations. In deze functie treed je op als een volwaardige financiële business partner en ondersteun je het management bij het nemen van onderbouwde strategische beslissingen.

Je krijgt een sleutelrol binnen de organisatie en werkt mee aan budgettering, forecasting, financiële analyses, rapportering en procesoptimalisatie binnen een uitdagende en voortdurend evoluerende omgeving.

Jouw takenpakket:

  • Het opstellen en opvolgen van budgetten
  • Het uitwerken van forecasts
  • Het analyseren van financiële resultaten
  • Het identificeren van afwijkingen en het formuleren van verbeteracties
  • Het ondersteunen van afdelingsverantwoordelijken bij financiële vraagstukken
  • Het opstellen van financiële rapporteringen
  • Het analyseren van winstgevendheid en marges
  • Het opvolgen van KPI's en prestatie-indicatoren
  • Het verklaren van afwijkingen ten opzichte van budgetten, forecasts en voorgaande periodes
  • Het rapporteren aan zowel het lokale management als de internationale organisatie
  • Daarnaast werk je mee aan verschillende verbeterprojecten binnen de organisatie.
  • Je onderzoekt waar efficiëntiewinsten mogelijk zijn en draagt bij aan een performante en toekomstgerichte financiële afdeling.
  • Je neemt eveneens deel aan projecten binnen verschillende businessunits en neemt, afhankelijk van het project, een ondersteunende of coördinerende rol op.

Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in finance, accountancy, bedrijfsmanagement of een vergelijkbare richting

  • Minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring als Business Controller
  • Ervaring binnen de logistieke sector is een belangrijke troef
  • Een uitstekende kennis van het Nederlands en het Engels
  • Een sterk analytisch en financieel inzicht
  • Ervaring met budgettering, forecasting en financiële rapportering
  • Een proactieve en oplossingsgerichte ingesteldheid
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden
  • Een goede kennis van Excel en BI-tools
  • De bereidheid om binnen de Benelux te reizen
