Onze klant is een internationale organisatie in de duurzame logistieke sector, een speler die groeit met een duidelijke richting. Finance bekleedt hier geen ondersteunende rol in de marge, het zit mee aan tafel wanneer strategische beslissingen worden genomen. De cultuur is open en de hiërarchie is plat genoeg om er iets van te maken.

Als je vandaag als Business Controller werkt maar merkt dat je analyses verdwijnen in een map ergens op een server, dan weet je wat je mist. Hier is dat anders. Jouw werk geeft richting aan beslissingen die de organisatie bewegen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden als Business Controller:

  • Je bouwt maandelijkse forecasts en budgetteringen op en vertaalt afwijkingen ten opzichte van de actuals naar concrete bijstuurvoorstellen die het management daadwerkelijk gebruikt.
  • Je volgt operationele en financiële KPI's op, analyseert marges en zet ruwe data om in iets bruikbaars voor de mensen die keuzes moeten maken.
  • Je werkt samen met operationele teams en stelt de vragen die anderen laten liggen, op een manier die teams scherper laat kijken naar hun eigen cijfers.
  • Je stroomlijnt bestaande financiële processen en verbetert de manier waarop informatie door de organisatie beweegt.
  • Je onderbouwt strategische business cases met cijfermatige argumenten die de verdere groei mee richting geven.

  • Je beschikt over een master- of bachelordiploma in een economische of financiële richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 2 jaar ervaring in een rol als (Business) Controller
