Onze klant is een gerenommeerd aannemersbedrijf met verscheidene afdelingen.

Ze zijn onder meer aanwezig in de telecomwereld. Verder zorgen zij voor het plaatsen en onderhouden van elektromechanische installaties en

kunstwerken, tunnelverlichting, lichtbebakening op start -en landingsbanen van vliegvelden en luchthavens, openbare verlichting en nog veel meer.

Je komt terecht in een financieel gezonde en sterk groeiende onderneming waar je als Business Controller écht impact hebt op de werking van de organisatie. Je krijgt de kans om mee te bouwen aan de verdere professionalisering van de financiële afdeling en werkt nauw samen met zowel finance als de operationele teams.

Jobomschrijving

Als Business Controller vorm je de brug tussen finance en de operationele afdelingen. Je vertaalt cijfers naar bruikbare inzichten waarmee het management onderbouwde beslissingen kan nemen.

Je krijgt onder meer volgende verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Opstellen en analyseren van periodieke managementrapporteringen.
  • Uitwerken en opvolgen van budgetten en forecasts.
  • Analyseren van financiële en operationele KPI's en formuleren van verbeteracties.
  • Ondersteunen van de verschillende business units met heldere financiële inzichten.
  • Identificeren van opportuniteiten om processen efficiënter en rendabeler te maken.
  • Uitvoeren van rendabiliteits-, project- en investeringsanalyses.
  • Actief meewerken aan de verdere digitalisering en optimalisatie van rapporteringstools.
  • Samenwerken met finance, operations en management om strategische beslissingen te ondersteunen.

Voor deze functie kijken we uit naar iemand die graag verder kijkt dan de cijfers alleen.

Idealiter beschik je over:

  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma binnen een financiële of economische richting.
  • Een eerste relevante ervaring als controller, auditor of financial analyst.
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden en een kritische blik.
  • Een goede kennis van Excel; ervaring met BI-tools vormt een mooie meerwaarde.
  • Interesse in procesverbetering en datagedreven werken.
  • Een proactieve houding en zin om verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen.
  • Vlotte communicatieve vaardigheden zodat je financiële informatie begrijpelijk kan vertalen naar verschillende stakeholders.
