Achter deze vacature staat een ervaren bouwonderneming die verschillende bouwprojecten van voorbereiding tot uitvoering realiseert. Daarbij wordt gewerkt met eigen ploegen, chauffeurs en kraanmachinisten die dagelijks nauw samenwerken.

Transport vormt een belangrijke schakel binnen de organisatie. Van grote prefabwanden en funderingsbalken tot dakpanelen, bouwmaterialen en machines: heel wat materiaal moet veilig en tijdig tussen leveranciers, bedrijf en verschillende werven worden verplaatst.

Als chauffeur ben je daardoor veel meer dan iemand die enkel achter het stuur zit. Je maakt deel uit van het volledige bouwproces en werkt rechtstreeks samen met de mensen op de werf. Daarbij krijg je modern en goed onderhouden materieel ter beschikking en staat veilig werken steeds voorop.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Dagelijks vervoer je prefabelementen en bouwmaterialen, zoals muren, funderingsbalken, dakpanelen, schoren en ander werfmateriaal.
  • Eenmaal aangekomen op de werf help je bij het correct lossen van de vracht en werk je hiervoor nauw samen met de kraanmachinist en werfploeg.
  • Daarnaast haal je grondstoffen bij leveranciers op, waaronder bakstenen, dakpannen, isolatie, zand en andere bouwmaterialen, waarbij een correcte ladingszekering met spanriemen essentieel is.
  • Tussen verschillende projecten verzorg je ook de verplaatsing van bouw- en kraanmateriaal en ondersteun je waar nodig bij het verhuizen van ploegen en hun materiaal.
  • Afwisseling krijg je bovendien door occasioneel uitzonderlijk vervoer uit te voeren, waardoor niet iedere werkdag of rit hetzelfde verloopt.
  • Om zelfstandig de baan op te kunnen, beschik je over een geldig rijbewijs CE en vakbekwaamheid Code 95 en heb je bij voorkeur al relevante rijervaring; ervaring met bouwtransport, prefab of uitzonderlijk vervoer vormt een sterke meerwaarde.
  • Een goede beheersing van het Nederlands en/of Frans laat je toe om vlot te communiceren met collega's, leveranciers en mensen op de werf.
  • Veiligheid staat tijdens iedere rit centraal: je hebt ervaring met correcte ladingszekering, gaat zorgvuldig om met trekker en opleggers en rijdt verantwoordelijk. Een collegiale houding is belangrijk omdat je dagelijks samenwerkt met chauffeurs, kraanmachinisten en verschillende buitenploegen.
