The posting

In het kader van onze verdere groei en professionalisering zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren kok die onze keuken mee in handen neemt. Iemand die graag verse gerechten maakt, zelfstandig kan werken en mee zorgt voor een kwalitatief en gevarieerd aanbod in onze slagerij.

We zoeken geen klassieke restaurantchef, maar een kok die zich thuis voelt in een productieomgeving en graag bezig is met het voorbereiden en bereiden van gerechten voor onze winkel.

Jouw rol binnen onze slagerij

Als kok ben je verantwoordelijk voor de bereiding en voorbereiding van ons assortiment bereide gerechten. Van dagelijkse klassiekers tot seizoensgebonden gerechten: jij zorgt ervoor dat alles vers, smaakvol en volgens onze kwaliteitsnormen wordt klaargemaakt.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten onder andere:

• Bereiden en voorbereiden van verse gerechten voor verkoop in onze winkel

• Plannen en organiseren van de dagelijkse keukenproductie

• Bewaken van smaak, kwaliteit, versheid en presentatie

• Zorgen voor een correcte bewaring en verwerking van ingrediënten

• Opvolgen van voorraden en tijdig signaleren wat nodig is

• Werken volgens de geldende hygiëne- en voedselveiligheidsvoorschriften

• Meedenken over nieuwe gerechten, seizoenssuggesties en het verdere aanbod

• Samenwerken met het slagerij- en winkelteam om de dagelijkse werking vlot te laten verlopen

Je krijgt daarbij de nodige zelfstandigheid en verantwoordelijkheid om je werk goed te organiseren.

Wie zoeken wij

• Je hebt ervaring als kok, chef-kok of in een professionele keuken

• Je kan zelfstandig gerechten voorbereiden en bereiden

• Je werkt georganiseerd en kan een productieplanning goed inschatten

• Je hebt oog voor smaak, kwaliteit, hygiëne en presentatie

• Je neemt initiatief en ziet zelf welk werk er moet gebeuren

• Je bent flexibel ingesteld en bereid om in een variabel uurrooster te werken

• Je werkt graag samen met collega’s, maar kan ook perfect zelfstandig je keuken runnen
