Als schadebeheerder zal je je toespitsen op schade bij ondernemingen en dit over alle verzekeringstakken niet-leven. Je bent hierbij het aanspreekpunt van jouw klantenportefeuille. Meer concreet zal je jouw klanten bijstaan van A tot Z. Je analyseert de claim en gaat na wie aansprakelijk kan zijn. Daarop volgend geef je de claim aan bij de maatschappij en sta je in voor een constructieve bemiddeling. Verder ga je proactief op zoek naar oplossingen en onderhandel je met zowel de klant, de expert als de verzekeringsmaatschappij. Belangrijk is dat je de dossiers in handen neemt en met enige creativiteit de belangen van jouw klanten verdedigd. Indien je dit nodig acht, schakel je de rechtsbijstand in. Een proactieve, toch empathische houding is nodig om alle stakeholders tevreden te houden.

Je hebt bij voorkeur een Master in een financiële of juridische functie en grote interesse in complexe verzekeringsclaims. Ervaring als verzekeringsmedewerker, liefst ondernemingsgericht, is noodzakelijk om deze functie in te vullen. Je kan vlot communiceren en deinst er niet van terug te onderhandelen met zowel de klant als de verzekeringsmaatschappij. Een weigering van de maatschappij wordt door jou niet zomaar aanvaard. Uiteraard ga je gestructureerd te werk en kan je het overzicht bewaren over verschillende dossiers.
