The posting

Als claims advisor transportverzekeringen neem je de complexere schadedossiers binnen transport en logistiek op. Je expertise wordt ingeschakeld wanneer een dossier extra analyse of begeleiding vraagt.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten onder andere:

  • Je adviseert en ondersteunt collega's bij de behandeling van schadedossiers binnen air, road en sea transport en logistiek.
  • Je neemt de leiding over complexe dossiers, waaronder schadegevallen boven €5.000, dossiers waarbij experten betrokken zijn en dossiers waarin advocaten worden ingeschakeld.
  • Je analyseert de omstandigheden van een schade en bepaalt welke informatie en stappen nodig zijn om het dossier verder te behandelen.
  • Je bewaakt de bestaande procedures rond transportschades en ziet toe op een correcte toepassing ervan.
  • Je onderhoudt contacten met verzekeraars en makelaars.
  • Je ondersteunt het administratieve beheer van verschillende verzekeringen, waaronder brand, professionele aansprakelijkheid, burgerlijke aansprakelijkheid en allrisk.
  • Je analyseert klantcontracten en brengt verzekerbare risico's in kaart.
  • Je adviseert collega's en andere vestigingen wanneer zij bij een complex schadedossier extra expertise nodig hebben.
  • Je schakelt indien nodig experten of advocaten in en volgt hun tussenkomst verder op.
  • Je onderhandelt met verschillende betrokken partijen en bewaakt daarbij het belang van een correcte dossierafhandeling.

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die al ervaring heeft met claims en zich comfortabel voelt bij complexe dossiers.

  • Je hebt ervaring binnen schadebeheer of een vergelijkbare functie in een verzekeringsomgeving.
  • Kennis van CMR-verzekeringen is een belangrijke troef.
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en kijkt kritisch naar de verschillende elementen van een dossier.
  • Je kan contracten en risico's grondig analyseren.
  • Je communiceert vlot met klanten, collega's, verzekeraars, experten en andere betrokken partijen.
  • Je bent een sterke onderhandelaar en weet verschillende belangen op een professionele manier samen te brengen.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
