Als CNC-draaier ben je verantwoordelijk voor het instellen, programmeren en bedienen van moderne CNC-draaibanken. Je leest technische tekeningen, selecteert de juiste gereedschappen en schrijft zelfstandig CNC-programma's, onder andere voor besturingen van Fanuc en Mitsubishi. Tijdens het productieproces bedien en bewaak je meerdere machines en werk je samen met robots en andere geautomatiseerde systemen. Je houdt voortdurend oog voor kwaliteit, snelheid en een optimaal productieproces.
