Wil jij je commerciële carrière lanceren in de wereld van shipping en maritieme logistiek? Voor een internationale speler in maritiem transport en container shipping zijn we op zoek naar een Commercieel Medewerker Export die klanten adviseert, prijzen onderhandelt en mee bouwt aan sterke, duurzame klantrelaties.

Onze klant is een familiebedrijf met een wereldwijd netwerk en duidelijke waarden: passie, oog voor mensen, gelijke kansen en een constante drang om te evolueren. Deze functie is ideaal voor starters en junior profielen die hun eerste stappen willen zetten in export sales binnen de maritieme sector. Heb je al wat ervaring in logistiek, forwarding of shipping? Dan ben je uiteraard ook van harte welkom. Je krijgt een grondige opleiding, werkt samen met ervaren collega's en groeit snel in een functie met echte verantwoordelijkheid.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je beheert de exportklanten binnen jouw toegewezen trade of vaargebied en bent hun vaste commerciële aanspreekpunt
  • Je maakt offertes op voor uitgaande zeevracht en volgt die actief op, in lijn met de richtlijnen van het lokale management en het internationale hoofdkantoor
  • Je onderhandelt met klanten en adviseert hen over de beste transportoplossing voor hun noden
  • Je registreert prijsafspraken correct en nauwkeurig in de systemen
  • Je werkt nauw samen met het Customer Service team voor een vlotte opvolging van boekingen
  • Je helpt mee vrachtdisputen op te lossen en neemt actief deel aan allocatiemanagement
  • Samen met de Trade Manager ga je op klantenbezoek om relaties te versterken en verder uit te bouwen
  • Je volgt markttrends en concurrenten op de voet en vertaalt die informatie naar commerciële inzichten
  • Je stelt statistieken en rapporten op over de commerciële resultaten per trade en per klant voor de Commercial Trade Manager
  • Je schakelt dagelijks met verschillende interne afdelingen, zodat de klant altijd een kwalitatieve service krijgt
  • Een bachelordiploma, bij voorkeur in logistiek management, supply chain of een commerciële richting, of gelijkwaardig door ervaring in shipping of logistiek
  • Een oprechte interesse in maritiem transport, export en internationale handel
  • Vlotte kennis van Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Frans is een mooie troef
  • Communicatief en overtuigend, met plezier in netwerken en klantrelaties opbouwen
  • Een oplossingsgerichte mindset: jij ziet uitdagingen, geen problemen
  • Je voelt je thuis in een dynamische omgeving waar geen dag hetzelfde is
  • Deadlines geven je energie en je durft snel beslissingen te nemen
  • Je stelt makkelijk prioriteiten en anticipeert op wat komt
  • Klantgericht, nauwkeurig en administratief sterk
  • Vlot met MS Office en bereid om nieuwe systemen snel onder de knie te krijgen
  • Een echte teamspeler die graag samenwerkt over afdelingen heen
