The posting

Voor een stabiele productieomgeving in de regio Turnhout zijn we op zoek naar een Continuous Improvement Engineer die energie krijgt van het analyseren en verbeteren van productieprocessen. In deze rol vorm je de brug tussen productie en kwaliteit en ga je actief op zoek naar manieren om processen efficiënter, slimmer en kwalitatiever te maken. Je combineert een analytische aanpak met een sterke aanwezigheid op de werkvloer en zorgt ervoor dat verbeteringen ook daadwerkelijk worden gerealiseerd en geborgd.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Analyseren van productieprocessen, kwaliteitsdata en KPI's om verbeteropportuniteiten te identificeren
  • Initiëren en begeleiden van Continuous Improvement-projecten van analyse tot implementatie
  • Uitvoeren van oorzaakanalyses en vertalen van problemen naar concrete en haalbare oplossingen
  • Samenwerken met productie, kwaliteit en andere stakeholders om verbeteringen effectief door te voeren
  • Regelmatig aanwezig zijn op de werkvloer en nauw samenwerken met operatoren en medewerkers
  • Verbeteracties opvolgen en de impact ervan op efficiëntie, kwaliteit en processen bewaken
  • Zorgen voor een duurzame borging van verbeteringen via procedures, werkinstructies en standaarden
  • Meewerken aan het creëren en versterken van een continue verbetercultuur
  • Ondersteunen bij interne en externe audits
  • Toezien op de naleving van kwaliteitsnormen, procedures en wettelijke vereisten
  • Het kwaliteitshandboek en relevante procedures actueel houden
  • Initiëren, opvolgen en rapporteren van corrigerende en preventieve acties
  • Rechtstreeks rapporteren aan de Quality Manager

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een masterdenkniveau; een bachelor met relevante ervaring komt ook in aanmerking
  • Je hebt minimaal 3 à 5 jaar ervaring binnen een productieomgeving
  • Je bent analytisch sterk, maar ook praktisch ingesteld
  • Je hebt interesse in Continuous Improvement, Lean en procesoptimalisatie
  • Je neemt initiatief en weet collega's mee te krijgen in verbetertrajecten
  • Je communiceert vlot met zowel management als medewerkers op de werkvloer
  • Ervaring met Lean, Six Sigma of Green Belt is een plus
