Als data engineer werk je aan de technische basis van de dataomgeving van GVB. Je zorgt ervoor dat data op een veilige, betrouwbare en efficiënte manier wordt verzameld, verwerkt en beschikbaar gemaakt. Daarbij kijk je niet alleen naar de vraag van vandaag, maar ook naar hoe het platform zich op de langere termijn moet ontwikkelen. Je houdt je onder andere bezig met: - ontwerpen, bouwen en verbeteren van data pipelines en datakoppelingen; - ontwikkelen van hoogwaardige datasets en datamodellen die als fundament dienen voor rapportages en dashboards; - bedenken en uitleggen van technische oplossingen voor complexe datavraagstukken; - adviseren van de teamlead over technische keuzes, standaarden en verbeteringen; - coachen van minder ervaren data engineers en delen van technische kennis binnen het team; - ondersteunen van data analisten bij toegang tot datasets en het optimaal benutten van het dataplatform; - bijdragen aan architectuurkeuzes, standaarden en nieuwe technologieën voor data-engineering binnen GVB.
