Wie fortschrittlich - das zeigt sich digital: Seit 2016 liefert unser Onlineshop thesteel.com über 100.000 sofort verfügbare Stahlprodukte frachtfrei. Die Plattform ist eine Eigenentwicklung und läuft Cloud-nativ auf AWS. Mit Steelcoin X, einem Utility-Token nach MiCAR, wird eine Tonne Stahl on-chain handelbar und physisch einlösbar. Auf AWS und Kubernetes läuft auch die Data-Science-Plattform, an der du mitbaust. 1 DATA SCIENTIST / ML ENGINEER (M/W/D) Vollzeit/Hybrid 2 Tage Homeoffice für unseren Standort Guntramsdorf oder 1020 Wien

DEINE ROLLE

* Entwicklung, Training und Weiterentwicklung von ML-Modellen (z. B. Nachfrage- und Preisprognosen im Stahlhandel)

* Durchführung statistischer Datenanalysen sowie Datenaufbereitung und -anreicherung

* Aufbau und Pflege von Datenpipelines und Datenmodellen für Analytics und ML-Anwendungen

* Mitwirkung an der Cloud-basierten Data-Science-Plattform (AWS, Kubernetes)

* Direkte Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit mit den relevanten Business Units

* Eigenständige Programmierung und produktiver Einsatz der Modelle (Python, R)

DU BRINGST MIT

* Abgeschlossenes Studium in Data Science, Informatik, Statistik oder vergleichbare Erfahrung

* Programmierkenntnisse in R und/oder Python

* Erfahrung mit Datenbanken und im Aufbau von Datenpipelines

* Fundiertes Verständnis für statistische Analysen

* Pragmatischer Ansatz beim Entwickeln von Problemlösungen

* Begeisterung, ML-Modelle in produktiven Systemen einzusetzen

* Freude an interdisziplinärer Projektarbeit, Kommunikationsstärke und vernetzte Denkweise

* Code-Ownership-Mentalität und Verantwortungsbewusstsein für deinen Code

* Sichere Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse
