Het engineeringbureau TUC RAIL is een dochteronderneming van Infrabel die gespecialiseerd is in spoorinfrastructuur en –technologie. Al meer dan 30 jaar is TUC RAIL toonaangevend en baanbrekend in technische expertise, flexibiliteit en creatieve oplossingen van studie over projectmanagement tot werfsupervisie. Onze projecten zijn vaak van zeer grote omvang en gaan van de aanleg van het netwerk voor hogesnelheidstreinen in België over de Diaboloverbinding tot het Gewestelijk ExpresNet, de concentratie van de seinposten op het Belgische spoornet of de Liefkenshoekspoorverbinding. Jobomschrijving

Ons Competence Center Structure draagt bij tot de projecten door het leveren van medewerkers met kennis van en ervaring in burgerlijke bouwkunde (architectuur, beton- en staalconstructies, stabiliteit, kunstwerken, hydraulica, geotechniek, gebouwentechniek, brandveiligheid).

Voor dit Competence Center zoeken we een Design Engineer Hydraulica (M/V/X).

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je staat in voor het volledige ontwerp van het afwateringsnetwerk binnen onze uitdagende en complexe infrastructuurprojecten (spoor-, weg- en omgevingsinfrastructuur)
  • Je levert technische bijstand tijdens de uitvoering van de werken en je verleent advies wanneer zich wijzigingen of moeilijkheden voordoen
  • Klimaatvriendelijk ontwerpen, beperken van ecologische impact, voorkomen van wateroverlast en duurzaamheid zijn daarbij belangrijke aandachtspunten
  • Je werkt zelfstandig binnen een multidisciplinair projectteam. Je krijgt de vrijheid om creatieve, innoverende en duurzame ontwerpvoorstellen te maken, die technisch realiseerbaar zijn. Doch zonder het economische aspect uit het oog te verliezen
  • In samenwerking met projectteams, werfteams en klanten draag je bij aan de ontwikkeling van efficiënte oplossingen voor technische uitdagingen op het vlak van drainage.
  • Je werkt mee aan klimaataanpassingsoplossingen voor water en milieu binnen onze projecten
  • Je volgt een “on the job” opleidingstraject, ondersteund door een team van experts in verschillende domeinen.
  • Je hebt een master in de ingenieurswetenschappen (burgerlijk of industrieel), optie bouwkunde, of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Je beschikt over minstens 5 jaar ervaring met het ontwerpen en bouwen van afwateringstelsels
  • Praktische kennis van uitvoeringsfasen of bouwwerken is een pluspunt.
  • Je kan het werfteam en de klant technisch en praktische ondersteunen bij de zoektocht naar oplossingen voor onverwachte afwateringsproblemen
  • Kennis van en ervaring met de Belgische wetgeving en goede praktijken is noodzakelijk
  • Je bent vertrouwd met hydrodynamische rekenpakketten zoals Infoworks, Infoworks ICM, Sirio, …
  • Je bent vertrouwd met CAD-software (Autocad, Autocad Civil 3D, …)
  • Je werkt vlot met MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, …)
  • Je hebt een uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands of het Frans. Je hebt ook een goede kennis van de andere taal (Nederlands of Frans) of van het Engels. Je bent bereid je taalvaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen indien nodig
  • Je bent innovatief, nauwkeurig, analytisch ingesteld, pragmatisch, proactief en autonoom
  • Je bent ook een echte teamplayer die vlot samenwerkt binnen een multidisciplinair team en beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden.
