Ben jij een ervaren DevOps & Cloud Engineer die liever zelf in de technologie duikt dan vanop afstand strategieën uittekent? Iemand die graag uitzoekt waarom iets werkt zoals het werkt, zelf oplossingen bouwt en tegelijk durft te zeggen wanneer iets beter kan?

Voor deze nieuwe rol zoeken we een senior hands-on engineer die mee structuur brengt in onze infrastructuur en tegelijk de vrijheid krijgt om zelf keuzes te maken. Je werkt nauw samen met het engineeringteam en krijgt de ruimte om te experimenteren, te verbeteren en vooral: dingen écht werkend te krijgen.

Wat ga je doen? Als DevOps & Cloud Engineer word je mee verantwoordelijk voor de betrouwbaarheid, veiligheid en performantie van het platform:

  • Je bouwt en optimaliseert onze AWS- en Linux-infrastructuur, met een sterke focus op Docker en schaalbaarheid.
  • Je zet monitoring, observability en alerting verder op zodat problemen gedetecteerd worden vóór ze impact hebben op klanten of business.
  • Je automatiseert deployments, systemen, processen en failover-strategieën zodat alles reproduceerbaar en betrouwbaar blijft.
  • Je bewaakt cybersecurity, performantie en infrastructuurgebruik en denkt proactief mee over bottlenecks, load en schaalbaarheid.
  • Je analyseert infrastructuur en cloudkosten en optimaliseert deze waar mogelijk, zodat het platform performant én duurzaam kan meegroeien.

Waar ga je werken? Onze klant is actief in payment automation en ontwikkelt innovatieve oplossingen die bedrijven helpen om financiële processen en betalingen efficiënter en geautomatiseerd te laten verlopen. Achter deze oplossingen staat een technisch platform dat veilig, performant en 24/7 beschikbaar moet zijn. Als DevOps & Cloud Engineer krijg je de kans om mee de technische fundamenten van dit platform verder uit te bouwen.

  • Je hebt minstens 7 jaar relevante ervaring binnen DevOps, Cloud of Infrastructure Engineering.
  • AWS is jouw terrein: je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met Amazon/AWS en Linux-infrastructuren.
  • Je hebt sterke en praktische ervaring met Docker en weet hoe je containerized omgevingen up & running houdt.
  • Je bent een echte hands-on engineer: je hebt zelf infrastructuur, monitoring of systemen opgezet en geautomatiseerd.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, stelt kritische vragen en durft beslissingen te nemen. Je hoeft niet alles te weten, maar wil vooral weten waarom iets werkt en hoe het beter kan.
