The posting

Dierenartsenpraktijk Aan De Watergang is een grote groepspraktijk waar we zowel honden, katten, konijnen, of andere bijzondere huisdieren ontvangen. Voor patiënten zetten we in op kwalitatieve evidence-based medicine door op regelmatige basis bij te scholen. Naast onze patiënten hechten we ook belang aan hun baasjes door hen beide te verwelkomen in een warm en rustig interieur met voldoende zitcomfort in de wachtzaal.

Onze moderne praktijk beschikt over een volledig uitgerust labo, 3 consultatieruimtes en 2 operatiezalen die uitgerust zijn met gasanesthesie en een zuurstofgenerator. Daarnaast hebben we ook een ruime revalidatieruimte, waar patiënten in alle rust met aangepaste verwarming en belichting kunnen ontwaken.

Reken alvast op volgende verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je agenda wordt stapsgewijs gevuld met patiënten, zodat er tijd is om te leren en te overleggen. Na de inwerkingsperiode doe je zelfstandig raadplegingen in eerste lijn.
  • Na een inloopperiode draai je mee in de eigen wachtdienst en regionale wachtdienst .
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de assistentes. Zij ondersteunen je bij de consultaties en jullie staan samen in voor de opvolging van de gehospitaliseerde patiënten.
  • Je kan steeds terecht bij je collega’s voor een second opinion, ook tijdens je wachten. Of indien nodig verwijs je de patiënt door binnen de praktijk.
  • Je bent afgestudeerd als Dierenarts kleine huisdieren. Heb je een eerste werkervaring dan is dit een extra plus!
  • Je bent stressbestendig en kunt flexibel omgaan met veranderende omstandigheden die eigen zijn aan een multidisciplinaire praktijk.
  • Je bent bereidt om te werken 1 avond/week, 1 zaterdagvoormiddag om de 3 weken en 1 volledig weekend om de 6 weken.
  • Je bent een teamspeler, hanteert een open communicatie naar het team om de zorg van elke patiënt te bespreken en te verbeteren.
