Je komt terecht in een logistieke speler actief in de regio Gent, met een sterke focus op transport en goederenstromen binnen een internationale context. Wat houdt de job in?

  • Jij zorgt ervoor dat de volledige transportplanning correct wordt opgesteld en continu geoptimaliseerd
  • Je stelt de shuttleplanning en nachtplanning op en stuurt bij waar nodig
  • Het toewijzen van de juiste chauffeurs behoort tot jouw dagelijkse verantwoordelijkheid
  • Op de werkvloer volg je het laden en lossen actief op en stuur je bij waar nodig
  • Je controleert of alle goederen correct op hun bestemming terechtkomen
  • Aansturen van chauffeurs gebeurt door jou op een duidelijke en gestructureerde manier
  • Je fungeert als eerste aanspreekpunt tijdens ritten en biedt ondersteuning bij problemen onderweg
  • Bij onverwachte situaties speel je snel in en zoek je naar haalbare oplossingen
  • Alternatieven uitwerken zoals andere routes of vervangende chauffeurs maakt deel uit van je aanpak
  • Je herbekijkt prioriteiten en past de planning aan waar nodig
  • Voorstellen doen om processen te verbeteren zit in jouw manier van werken
  • Je waakt erover dat transporten voldoen aan de geldende wetgeving zoals rijtijden en ADR
  • Controleren of procedures correct gevolgd worden neem je nauwgezet op
  • Je beschikt over een diploma in een logistieke richting of hebt relevante ervaring binnen dispatching of planning
  • Enkele jaren ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie zorgen ervoor dat je snel zelfstandig kan werken
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van Nederlands en kan je behelpen in Frans en Engels voor vlotte communicatie
