The posting

Het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, School of Arts van de Erasmushogeschool, staat voor 190 jaar artistieke excellentie en internationale renommee. Gehuisvest in een prachtig historisch gebouw, tussen het Justitiepaleis en het Museum voor Schone Kunsten in de trendy Zavelbuurt, biedt het conservatorium naast bachelor en masteropleidingen in Muziek en Musical ook een educatieve master aan.

Je werkt als postdoctoraal onderzoeker aan een onderzoeksproject dat in direct verband staat met je artistieke praktijk. In dit project doe je onderzoek naar de harmonische transities in de late 17de eeuw. Je maakt deel uit van een dynamische onderzoeksgemeenschap aan het conservatorium, in het bijzonder de onderzoeksgroep Res#19. Onderzoek is je hoofdopdracht, maar je kan ook worden gevraagd om beperkt onderzoeksondersteunende of onderwijsopdrachten te vervullen. Daarnaast word je

verwacht om (deel)resultaten van je onderzoek te delen via relevante interne en externe kanalen en om mee te werken aan aanvragen voor externe financiering.

Je behaalde een PhD in Arts, muziek.

Heb je een buitenlands diploma, met uitzondering van Nederland, Luxemburg of de Baltische staten, voeg dan ook een gelijkwaardigheidsattest van NARIC toe. Je voldoet aan de voorwaarden van artikel V 106 en V 107 van de Codex Hoger

Onderwijs en aan de huidige taalwetgeving

We werken ondertussen al een tijdje hybride, dus om alles zowel van thuis uit als op de

campus vlot te laten lopen zijn degelijke IT-skills een must. Als Brusselse hogeschool met internationale ambities verwachten we naast correct Nederlands een zekere meertaligheid van onze collega’s. Je vlot kunnen uitdrukken in het Frans, Engels of een

andere taal is dan ook een grote meerwaarde. Onverwachte wendingen scherpen je creatieve oplossingsgerichtheid aan. Je bent gemotiveerd om bij te leren en de hogeschool steunt jou en je team daar ook in.

Specifiek voor deze functie vragen we daarboven het volgende:

• Deskundigheid – Relevante deskundigheid van de onderzoeker.

• Onderzoekscompetenties – Aantonen door een beschrijving van het portfolio en/of van de (relevante) onderzoeksoutput.

• Projectvoorstel - De wetenschappelijke/artistieke kwaliteit van het projectvoorstel: planning, fasering, onderzoeksmethodologie.

• Samenwerking - Met externe partners is een pluspunt: de associatiepartner, een andere universiteit, een internationale partner, een partner uit de kunstwereld of bedrijfswereld.

• Fondsenwerving – Externe fondsenwerving is een pluspunt.

• Ervaring – Ervaring met het onderzoeksthema.
