Ben jij een ervaren douanespecialist met een passie voor internationale handel en compliance? Voor een internationale logistieke organisatie in de regio Antwerpen zoeken wij een Douane Declarant die verantwoordelijk is voor de correcte en tijdige verwerking van import- en exportaangiften.

Bedrijfsomschrijving

Onze klant is een wereldwijd opererende logistieke dienstverlener gespecialiseerd in internationale transportoplossingen, douaneafhandeling en supply chain management. Met een sterk internationaal netwerk en een klantgerichte aanpak ondersteunt de organisatie bedrijven bij het efficiënt beheren van hun internationale goederenstromen. Medewerkers krijgen de kans om te werken in een dynamische omgeving waar kwaliteit, compliance, samenwerking en persoonlijke ontwikkeling centraal staan.

Omschrijving

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Verwerken van import-, export- en transitdouaneaangiften.
  • Controleren en interpreteren van douanedocumentatie.
  • Correct invoeren van gegevens in douanesystemen.
  • Opvolgen van douanedossiers van begin tot einde.
  • Toepassen van wet- en regelgeving inzake classificatie, oorsprong en douanewaarde.
  • Communiceren met klanten, vervoerders en douaneautoriteiten.
  • Signaleren van afwijkingen en zoeken naar passende oplossingen.
  • Zorgen voor een correcte en tijdige facturatie van douanediensten.
  • Werken volgens vastgelegde klantprocedures en kwaliteitsrichtlijnen.
  • Actief bijdragen aan procesverbeteringen en compliance.

Ervaring & kennis

  • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als Douane Declarant of binnen een customs brokerage omgeving.
  • Grondige kennis van douaneprocedures voor import en export.
  • Goede kennis van Incoterms en het correct toepassen ervan.
  • Ervaring met tariefindeling, oorsprongsregels en waardebepaling.
  • Kennis van luchtvracht-, zeevracht- en wegtransportdocumentatie.
  • Goede administratieve en digitale vaardigheden.
  • Ervaring met Microsoft Office, in het bijzonder Excel en Word.

  • Sterk analytisch vermogen.
  • Proactieve en oplossingsgerichte houding.
  • Uitstekende organisatorische vaardigheden.
  • Zelfstandig kunnen werken en prioriteiten stellen.

  • Teamspeler met een klantgerichte mindset.

Talen

  • Zeer goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels.
