Voor een internationaal actief productiebedrijf met West-Vlaamse _oots zijn we op zoek naar een electrical engineer. Deze onderneming heeft een unieke achtergrond: haar geschiedenis gaat terug tot de 16de eeuw en is nauw verbonden met een rijk cultureel erfgoed. Vandaag vertaalt zich dat in een missie die kunst, vakmanschap en respect voor de natuur samenbrengt binnen een industriële context.

Het bedrijf ontwerpt en produceert exclusieve collecties wandbekleding en stoffen, geïnspireerd op een uitzonderlijk archief van historische designs en een uitgebreide collectie moderne en hedendaagse kunst. Deze creatieve inspiratiebron gaat hand in hand met een hoogtechnologisch productieapparaat waarin innovatie, duurzaamheid en precisie centraal staan.

Als electrical engineer kom je terecht in een technisch sterk team binnen een organisatie waar design en techniek elkaar versterken. Je werkt mee aan het optimaliseren en onderhouden van installaties die nodig zijn om artistieke visie om te zetten in concrete, tastbare producten van topkwaliteit.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Storingen analyseren en oplossen aan het gevarieerde machinepark met onder andere bedrijfseigen besturingssystemen, verfmachines, compressoren en robots
  • Preventief onderhoud uitvoeren en meedenken aan onderhoudsplannen om problemen te voorkomen
  • Optimalisaties voorstellen en implementeren om processen efficiënter te maken en verder te automatiseren
  • Nauw samenwerken met storingstechniekers, productiecollega’s en leidinggevenden binnen het familiebedrijf
  • Verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor het bijhouden van elektrische schema’s en correct voorraadbeheer
  • Veilig en gestructureerd werken om een goed onderhouden werkplaats en veilige werkomgeving te garanderen
  • Kennis en expertise delen met collega’s om samen sterker te worden
  • Een diploma in elektromechanica, elektriciteit of automatisering
  • Bij voorkeur 5+ jaar ervaring in een industriële omgeving, idealiter in een productieomgeving
  • Grondige kennis van PLC-besturingen en ervaring met elektriciteit, automatisering en pneumatiek
  • Analytisch vermogen om storingen vlot op te sporen en op te lossen, ook onder tijdsdruk
