The posting

EDR Antwerp Shipyard is de grootste scheepswerf van België, gespecialiseerd in scheepsonderhoud en -herstellingen, rompbehandeling en maritieme constructies. Onze uitdagende activiteiten vragen om bekwame en gemotiveerde medewerkers. Jaarlijks worden meer dan 150 schepen onderhouden en hersteld op onze werf in Antwerpen, terwijl projecten wereldwijd aan boord van schepen worden uitgevoerd.

Als elektricien ben je samen met je collega’s verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud en de herstelling van mobiele dieselgeneratoren ( power packs) die worden ingezet aan boord van zeeschepen. Deze generatoren zijn gemonteerd in 20ft- of 40ft-containers en hebben vermogens van 250 kVA tot 1500 kVA.

Je takenpakket omvat onder andere:

  • Uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud aan generatorinstallaties.
  • Stellen van diagnoses en uitvoeren van elektrische en technische herstellingen.
  • Testen en in bedrijf stellen van generatoren.
  • Aansluiten van installaties aan boord van schepen.
  • Toezien op orde, netheid en veiligheid binnen de werkomgeving.
  • Samenwerken met collega’s om een betrouwbare en kwalitatieve dienstverlening te garanderen.
  • Je hebt een sterke affiniteit met techniek of beschikt over een technische opleiding.
  • Je spreekt goed Engels.
  • Kennis van bijkomende talen (vooral Oost-Europese talen) is een pluspunt.
  • Je kunt elektrische schema’s lezen en begrijpt de werking van elektrische componenten in een schakelkast.
  • Je weet het hoofd koel te houden en kunt prioriteiten stellen.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en stipt.
  • Je bent een echte teamspeler.
  • Sporadisch overwerk en weekendwerk vormen voor jou geen probleem.
