Als Engineer Regeltechniek ontwerp en optimaliseer je de regeltechniek achter HVAC-installaties, gebouwbeheersystemen en andere kritische technische systemen. Over de organisatie Datacenters behoren technisch gezien tot de meest uitdagende gebouwen om aan te werken. Installaties draaien continu, worden uitgebreid gemonitord en moeten ook bij een storing beschikbaar blijven. Binnen deze organisatie in Amsterdam werk je dagelijks aan precies dat soort technische omgevingen. De organisatie richt zich volledig op de technische infrastructuur van datacenters en werkt voor verschillende grote opdrachtgevers. Projecten lopen uiteen van uitbreidingen en technische aanpassingen binnen bestaande locaties tot de engineering en realisatie van compleet nieuwe datacenters. Regeltechniek heeft binnen deze projecten een belangrijke positie. Alle informatie vanuit klimaatinstallaties, koeling, energievoorzieningen en andere technische systemen komt uiteindelijk samen in de besturing en monitoring. Hierdoor werk je niet alleen aan je eigen discipline, maar heb je veel contact met Engineers vanuit werktuigbouwkunde en elektrotechniek. Je komt terecht in een technische omgeving met veel specialistische kennis. Binnen projecten werk je samen met Engineers, Lead Engineers, BIM Modelleurs, Werkvoorbereiders en Projectleiders. De lijnen zijn kort en doordat engineering en uitvoering nauw samenwerken, zie je jouw ontwerpen uiteindelijk ook daadwerkelijk gerealiseerd worden. Wat ga je doen?
