Voor een sterke technische projectorganisatie in West-Vlaanderen zoeken we een Mechanical Project Leader die complexe mechanische projecten van concept tot oplevering in handen neemt.

Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar maatwerk, machinebouw en engineering centraal staan. De projecten zijn technisch uitdagend, vaak klantspecifiek en vragen iemand die zowel technisch sterk is als het overzicht kan bewaren over planning, budget, engineering en uitvoering.

Dit is geen pure coördinatiefunctie. Je blijft inhoudelijk betrokken bij de techniek, denkt mee over ontwerpkeuzes en vormt tegelijk het centrale aanspreekpunt voor klant, engineering, productie en externe partners.

Wat Ga Je Doen?

  • Je neemt mechanische projecten van A tot Z in handen, vanaf de eerste technische analyse tot installatie en finale oplevering.
  • Je bespreekt technische noden rechtstreeks met klanten en vertaalt deze naar een haalbaar mechanisch concept.
  • Je denkt actief mee over machineconcepten, constructies, lay-outs en technische oplossingen.
  • Je coördineert engineers en tekenaars en zorgt dat engineering volgens planning en technische verwachtingen verloopt.
  • Je blijft zelf technisch betrokken en springt waar nodig bij in 3D-ontwerp, layouts of technische detailbesprekingen.
  • Je bewaakt gedurende het volledige project planning, budget, kwaliteit en technische haalbaarheid.
  • Je volgt productie en montage nauwgezet op en grijpt in wanneer technische of organisatorische bijsturing nodig is.
  • Je stuurt leveranciers en externe technische partners aan en bewaakt gemaakte afspraken.
  • Je ondersteunt calculatie en sales bij de technische uitwerking van offertes en projectvoorstellen.
  • Je houdt rekening met de financiële impact van technische keuzes en zoekt steeds naar de juiste balans tussen kwaliteit, maakbaarheid en kostprijs.
  • Je fungeert als centrale schakel tussen klant, engineering, productie en montage.
  • Je behoudt het totaaloverzicht, maar bent tegelijk voldoende technisch betrokken om snel beslissingen te kunnen nemen wanneer dat nodig is.

Wie Ben Je?

  • Je beschikt over een bachelor of master in Elektromechanica, Mechanica, Industrieel Ontwerp of een vergelijkbare technische richting.
  • Relevante ervaring binnen machinebouw of engineering kan een formeel diploma compenseren.
  • Je hebt ervaring als Project Engineer, Projectleider, Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer of Mechanical Designer.
  • Je beschikt over een sterke mechanische basis en begrijpt hoe machines, constructies en technische installaties opgebouwd worden.
  • Ervaring met machinebouw, automatiseringsprojecten of technisch maatwerk is een duidelijke troef.
  • Je kunt werken met een 3D-CAD-pakket. Ervaring met Creo is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste.
  • Je communiceert vlot met klanten en kunt technische concepten helder en professioneel toelichten.
  • Je combineert technisch inzicht met voldoende commerciële feeling om ook budget, haalbaarheid en klantverwachtingen mee te bewaken.
  • Je werkt georganiseerd en houdt gemakkelijk overzicht wanneer meerdere interne en externe partijen betrokken zijn.
  • Je neemt graag verantwoordelijkheid en voelt je comfortabel in een rol met veel autonomie.
  • Ook een sterke Mechanical Engineer die klaar is voor de stap naar volledige projectverantwoordelijkheid komt in aanmerking.
