Ben jij een ervaren mechanieker met leiderschapskwaliteiten én een passie voor scheepsmotoren? Werk je graag hands-on terwijl je een team aanstuurt? Dan is deze functie jouw volgende stap.

In deze rol combineer je technische expertise met teamcoördinatie en speel je een cruciale rol in het onderhoud en de prestaties van geavanceerde maritieme propulsiesystemen.

Jouw rol Als Teamleader Mechanica (Propulsie) stuur je een team van techniekers aan en werk je zelf actief mee aan onderhoud en herstellingen van dieselmotoren en voortstuwingssystemen. Je zorgt ervoor dat alles veilig, efficiënt en volgens planning verloopt — zowel in de werkplaats als aan boord van schepen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Teamleiding & organisatie

  • Coördineren en verdelen van werkzaamheden binnen je team
  • Stellen van prioriteiten en bewaken van deadlines
  • Begeleiden, coachen en motiveren van techniekers

Hands-on techniek

  • Actief meewerken aan onderhoud en herstellingen van dieselmotoren en propulsiesystemen
  • Zowel interventies in de werkplaats als aan boord uitvoeren

Veiligheid & communicatie

  • Organiseren van toolboxmeetings en communiceren van veiligheidsrichtlijnen (LMRA)
  • Toezien op naleving van veiligheidsprocedures
  • Actief stimuleren van veiligheidsbewustzijn binnen het team

Rapportering & administratie

  • Dagelijkse rapportering van voortgang, bezetting en eventuele problemen
  • Verzamelen, digitaliseren en opvolgen van werkdocumenten (RW-cards)

Probleemoplossing & optimalisatie

  • Snel identificeren en oplossen van technische of organisatorische issues
  • Samenwerken met de Workshop Manager voor verbeteracties

Planning & middelenbeheer

  • Opvolgen van materiaalbehoeften en machinepark
  • Ondersteunen van een efficiënte planning en productieflow

Jouw profiel

  • Technische opleiding (werktuigbouwkunde, dieseltechniek, verbrandingsmotoren of gelijkwaardig)
  • Minimum 3 jaar aantoonbare ervaring met dieselmotoren en propulsiesystemen
  • Ervaring in het aansturen van een technisch team
  • Hands-on mentaliteit en sterk probleemoplossend vermogen Veiligheidsbewust en vertrouwd met LMRA
  • Zeer goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands
  • Administratief nauwkeurig en digitaal vaardig
  • Flexibel en een echte teamspeler
