Voor een logistieke organisatie in de regio Wevelgem zijn we op zoek naar een Expediteur. Je komt terecht in een internationale werkomgeving met een persoonlijke aanpak en korte communicatielijnen. De organisatie is al meerdere decennia actief binnen de logistieke sector en telt meer dan 200 medewerkers in de Benelux. Vanuit verschillende locaties wordt een breed aanbod aan transport- en logistieke diensten verzorgd, waarbij internationale transporten deel uitmaken van de dagelijkse werking. Een klantgerichte aanpak en een goede opvolging vormen daarbij belangrijke pijlers.

Als Expediteur ben je verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie van transporten regio Ierland en vorm je een belangrijke schakel tussen klanten, vervoerders en interne collega's. Je houdt het overzicht over de planning en zorgt ervoor dat de verschillende transporten vlot op elkaar afgestemd worden.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • De dagelijkse exportplanning voor groupagezendingen en deelpartijen richting Ierland neem je voor je rekening, waarbij je de afhalingen en leveringen nauwgezet op elkaar afstemt
  • Voor een vlotte uitvoering stem je de nodige informatie af met de camionnage- en containerafdeling, van laadlijsten en contactgegevens tot specifieke leveringsinstructies
  • Je volgt de vaste exportvertrekken en ferry-aansluitingen op en zorgt ervoor dat afhalingen tijdig plaatsvinden zodat de planning behouden blijft
  • Bij wijzigingen in de planning schakel je snel, informeer je klanten proactief en zorg je ervoor dat de verdere transportplanning correct wordt bijgestuurd
  • Daarnaast sta je in voor de boekingen en opvolging van containertransporten en coördineer je de bijhorende douaneformaliteiten
  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma in een logistieke of relevante richting
  • Bij voorkeur heb je meerdere jaren ervaring als expediteur, transportplanner of binnen een gelijkaardige logistieke functie
  • Een vlotte kennis van Nederlands, Frans en Engels is belangrijk om dagelijks met klanten, vervoerders en interne collega's te communiceren
