Ga voor een uitdagende job als voltijds tijdelijk kliniekarts fellow (contractueel) voor 1 jaar binnen de dienst Neonatale intensieve zorg, van de sector Man Vrouw Kind.

Tot jouw takenpakket behoren:

  • Patiëntenzorg, met name het zelf actief onderzoeken en behandelen van patiënten en superviseren van de binnen de dienst tewerkgestelde arts-specialisten in opleiding.
  • Het zelf actief onderzoeken en behandelen van pasgeborenen op de materniteit en de hieraan verbonden N*-functie.
  • Het instaan voor het stabiliseren en vervoeren van (ernstig) zieke pasgeborenen, doorverwezen vanuit regionale ziekenhuizen.
  • Nauw samenwerken met verpleegkundige werkgroepen.
  • Nauw samenwerken met andere subdisciplines binnen en buiten de pediatrie.

Gewenst profiel

  • Je bent houder van het wettelijk diploma van arts en je bent een in België erkend arts-specialist in de kindergeneeskunde.
  • Je wenst bijkomende expertise in de neonatale intensieve zorg te verwerven of wenst de bijzondere beroepstitel in de neonatologie te behalen.
  • Bereidheid tot deelname aan de hoge werkdruk van neonatale intensive care wachtbeurten en permanenties binnen de NIC-dienst met >40 verantwoorde NIC-bedden.
  • Je bent bereid je flexibel op te stellen en bent loyaal aan de visie en de missie van de dienst Neonatale intensieve zorg.
  • Je staat voor de 3 kernwaarden van het UZG: Je handelt respectvol, integer en verantwoordelijk.
  • Je staat open voor vernieuwing en groeit mee met verandering. Je werkt actief mee aan de verbetering van kwaliteit, omgeving, processen en producten.
  • Je speelt in op de (zorg)behoeften en noden van je patiënt, zijn omgeving en je klanten. Je hebt oog voor je eigen welzijn en dat van collega's.
  • Je communiceert helder en gestructureerd, afgestemd op de doelgroep en de situatie. Je neemt informatie op, stelt vragen en gaat in op (non-)verbale reacties.
  • Je bepaalt effectief doelen en prioriteiten, plant de nodige acties en gebruikt tijd en middelen om de vooropgestelde doelen te bereiken.
