Hou je ervan om fysiek actief te zijn en buiten aan de slag te gaan, terwijl je technische vaardigheden ontwikkelt? Als glasvezeloperator werk je dagelijks op werven en draag je rechtstreeks bij aan de aanleg van moderne glasvezelnetwerken. Je combineert praktisch vakmanschap met technisch inzicht: van het veilig opbouwen van je werkzone tot het nauwkeurig inblazen van kabels en oplossen van kleine storingen. Geen dag is hetzelfde: je werkt zelfstandig én in teamverband, steekt de handen uit de mouwen en je ziet direct het resultaat van je werk. Veiligheid, precisie en samenwerking staan altijd centraal, terwijl je tegelijk je kennis en ervaring in glasvezeltechnieken verder uitbouwt.

Jouw takenpakket:

  • Richt je werkzone in en zorg dat alles veilig en overzichtelijk is opgezet.
  • Controleer kort op mogelijke veiligheidsrisico’s en rapporteer afwijkingen.
  • Bereid kabels voor en ga zorgvuldig om met materiaal en leidingen.
  • Plaats glasvezelkabels in buizen met een blaasmachine volgens het plan.
  • Leid kabels gebouwen in of werk in putten, met af en toe wat grondwerk.
  • Monteer en bevestig kabels netjes in goten of tegen muren.
  • Los problemen op zoals vastzittende kabels of luchtlekken.
  • Informeer je werfleider kort over de voortgang en bijzonderheden.
  • Je hebt interesse in techniek en wil alles leren over glasvezelinstallaties.
  • Buiten werken en fysiek bezig zijn vind je leuk.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands.
  • Je kunt goed zelfstandig werken, maar functioneert ook in teamverband.
  • Je hebt een rijbewijs BE.
