Grensarbeid zoekt voor de gemeente Sittard-Geleen een Financial Controller A

“Wij werken samen voor Sittard-Geleen” is de organisatievisie van gemeente Sittard-Geleen. Een van de actiepunten uit deze visie is de P&C-producten dienstbaar en meer van toegevoegde waarde te laten zijn voor zowel de gemeenteraad, het college van burgemeester en wethouders, en voor de organisatie. Het team Financiën voorziet in een betrouwbare (financiële) informatievoorziening en vertaalt deze in uitvoeringstaken van de P&C-cyclus. Als Financial Controller A ben je primair verantwoordelijk voor de betrouwbaarheid (tijdig, juist, volledig en controleerbaar) van de financiële gegevens. Als Financial Controller A vorm je samen met de andere P&C-medewerkers de basis voor de totstandkoming van P&C-producten. Daarnaast fungeer je als sparringpartner voor de collega’s binnen het team, ondersteun je de teamcontrollers en adviseer je collega’s uit de lijn.

De volgende werkzaamheden behoren onder andere tot je takenpakket:

  • Ondersteunen met betrekking tot de inrichting van de Planning & Control cyclus, de verbetering van de bedrijfsvoering en efficiency- en de effectiviteitsverbeteringen binnen het domein respectievelijk de diverse teams. Dit alles met jouw specialisme op het gebied van financiën
  • Het opstellen van financiële overzichten en deze uitwerken ten behoeve van de project- en/of teamcontroller en de betreffende budgethouders
  • Het signaleren van eventuele knelpunten inclusief het formuleren van een advies bij de project- en/of teamcontroller en de betreffende budgethouders
  • Het opstellen van memoriaalboekingen en begrotingswijzigingen, in overleg met de project- en/of teamcontroller
  • Ondersteunen teams bij het opstellen van de planning & control documenten en het verzorgen van de afstemming met de project- en/of teamcontroller
  • Fungeren als vraagbaak voor projectmanagers, projectleiders en productbeheerders voor dagelijkse en cyclische planning & control vraagstukken.

De werkzaamheden bestaan daarnaast in specifieke zin onder meer uit:

  • Definiëren en verankeren van Interne Beheersmaatregelen binnen (nieuwe financiële) processen Definiëren van financiële managementinformatie voor de verschillende teams Financiële managementinformatie bouwen / beheren binnen (te ontwikkelen) processen/ procesinrichting Gevraagd en ongevraagd geven van financieel advies Waarnemen van collega-adviseurs indien nodig.

Daarnaast ben je analytisch sterk en je analyses monden uit in een helder financieel advies. Evenwicht, flexibiliteit en stressbestendigheid maken jou tot een solide teamplayer. Als Financial Controller A heb je een positieve grondhouding met een kritisch blik.

Leidend bij jouw adviezen is de operationele uitvoerbaarheid en het aanbieden van alternatieven. Vanzelfsprekend aangevuld met passende beheersmaatregelen.

Waar ben je goed in?

  • Je beschikt over een HBO werk- en denkniveau
  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met vakgebied Planning & Control
  • Je bent proactief en kunt zelfstandig, planmatig en projectmatig werken
  • Je kunt aanstekelijk communiceren over jouw vakgebied als financieel deskundige
  • Gedegen kennis van Excel is een absolute must
  • Ervaring binnen een gemeentelijke werkomgeving is geen vereiste
  • Je hebt het vermogen om snel te schakelen tussen de verschillende projecten en teams die wij in de organisatie bedienen.
