The posting

Binnen een internationale en mensgerichte organisatie draag je bij aan de financiële rapportering, procesoptimalisatie en kwaliteitsbewaking voor meerdere entiteiten in België, Nederland en Frankrijk. Je werkt in een hybride omgeving waar samenwerking, nauwkeurigheid en continue verbetering centraal staan. Het takenpakket omvat onder meer:

  • Uitvoeren van financiële controllingactiviteiten voor verschillende landen binnen de regio.
  • Intensief samenwerken met lokale en centrale finance teams, business stakeholders en shared service centers.
  • Leiden van de maandafsluiting en verzekeren van tijdige en correcte financiële rapportering.
  • Controleren van maand-, kwartaal- en jaarrekeningen volgens lokale GAAP‑regels en US GAAP.
  • Aanleveren van lokale financiële inzichten ter ondersteuning van rapportering en besluitvorming.
  • Beheren van de general ledger, inclusief journaalposten, reconciliaties en intercompany‑rapportering.
  • Toezien op accounts receivable en accounts payable processen.
  • Bewaken van compliance rond contracten, contingenties en revenue recognition volgens lokale en US GAAP.
  • Initiëren van procesverbeteringen, finance‑transformatieprojecten en best practices binnen accounting.
  • Coördineren van externe audits en aanleveren van de nodige documentatie.
  • Versterken van interne controles om correcte rapportering en risicobeperking te garanderen.
  • Bijdragen aan financiële projecten zoals e‑invoicing, systeemimplementaties en efficiëntie‑initiatieven.
  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma in accounting, finance of een gelijkaardige richting.
  • Minimaal 4 jaar ervaring in controlling, finance, accounting of audit.
  • Sterke kennis van SAP en Microsoft Office, in het bijzonder Excel.
  • Grondige kennis van lokale boekhoudregels, US GAAP en management accounting.
  • Ervaring met maandafsluiting, general ledger accounting en controllingprocessen.
  • Vlotte communicatie in het Engels; kennis van het Frans is een pluspunt.
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden en probleemoplossend vermogen.
  • Vermogen om prioriteiten te beheren in een complexe, snel evoluerende omgeving.
  • Proactieve, hands‑on ingesteldheid met focus op continue verbetering en ownership.
  • Teamgerichte ingesteldheid en vlotte samenwerking binnen internationale en remote teams.
