Jobomschrijving

Ben jij een organisatietalent met ervaring in zeevracht en hou je ervan om internationale goederenstromen in goede banen te leiden? Als expediteur import zeevracht zorg je ervoor dat importzendingen vlot, correct en tijdig op hun bestemming aankomen. Je volgt elk dossier van begin tot einde op en stemt af met klanten, leveranciers en douanediensten. Daarbij combineer je een klantgerichte aanpak met een nauwkeurige administratie en een sterke planning. Klaar om jouw logistieke kennis in te zetten binnen een internationale omgeving en mee te bouwen aan de toekomst van transport en logistiek?

Als expediteur import zeevracht ben je verantwoordelijk voor de volledige opvolging en coördinatie van importzendingen via zee.

  • Je organiseert het transport van de goederen van vertrek tot eindbestemming, inclusief de douaneafhandeling en de levering.
  • Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor klanten, houdt hen op de hoogte van de status van hun zendingen en behandelt vragen of problemen.
  • Je selecteert geschikte transportpartners en onderhandelt over tarieven en voorwaarden.
  • Je beheert de transportdocumenten, zoals cognossementen, douanedocumenten en facturen, en controleert of alles correct en volgens de geldende voorschriften verloopt.

Heb jij ervaring in zeevracht, werk je nauwkeurig en krijg je energie van een goede opvolging van transportdossiers? Dan herken je jezelf waarschijnlijk in het volgende profiel:

  • Je hebt minstens 2 jaar ervaring in expeditie, meer bepaald binnen de zeevracht.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands en het Engels.
  • Je leert vlot werken met nieuwe computerprogramma's.
  • Een opleiding of kennis van IMDG en Codex is een pluspunt.
