Ze zetten sterk in op digitalisering en datagedreven besluitvorming, en bouwen aan een modern data- en informatieplatform in de cloud om hun interne werking en maatschappelijke dienstverlening te versterken.

Functieomschrijving Als Data Engineer word je onderdeel van een domeinteam dat end‑to‑end data‑use-cases ontwikkelt, van brondata tot analytics‑klare datasets. Je speelt een belangrijke rol in de verdere uitbouw van een innovatief data‑ en informatieplatform dat steunt op Azure, Databricks, Python/PySpark, SQL en Power BI.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten o.a.:

  • Het mee uitwerken van functionele analyses in samenwerking met informatie analisten, data stewards en sleutelgebruikers.
  • Datamodellen ontwerpen en bouwen binnen de verschillende lagen van het dataplatform.
  • Data transformaties ontwikkelen in Databricks, gebruikmakend van het interne framework en de architecturale richtlijnen.
  • Meewerken aan de volledige ontwikkelcyclus: analyse, modellering, implementatie, testing, validatie en documentatie.
  • Onderhouden van het platform in een operationele context, inclusief monitoring en alerting.
  • Min. 3 jaar ervaring in data analyse, data engineering of BI.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met datawarehouse modellering en data architecturen.
  • Grondige kennis van Databricks (Python of PySpark).
  • Vertrouwd met Data Vault modellering en stermodellen.
  • Ervaring met SQL, datamodellen en ETL processen.
  • Ervaring met Power BI (semantisch model, governance, rapportering).
  • Ervaring met CI/CD pipelines en DevOps principes.
