Voor een grote Belgische organisatie zijn we op zoek naar een freelance Medior Power BI Data Analyst met sterke kennis van Databricks. Je komt terecht binnen een centraal Data & Analytics team dat verantwoordelijk is voor de uitbouw, het beheer en de verdere optimalisatie van data-oplossingen, rapportering, analytics en BI-toepassingen.

In deze rol werk je mee aan de verdere ontwikkeling van moderne data- en rapporteringsoplossingen binnen een Azure-omgeving. Je combineert je expertise in Power BI met kennis van Databricks, databanken en ETL-processen om kwalitatieve dashboards, analyses en datastromen te ontwikkelen. Daarnaast denk je mee over data modelling, visualisaties, governance en de verdere professionalisering van de Power BI-omgeving.

Functieomschrijving

  • Het ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van Power BI dashboards en rapporteringen
  • Het bouwen en beheren van datastromen en ETL-processen
  • Het werken met Databricks binnen een moderne data-architectuur
  • Het analyseren van databronnen en vertalen naar bruikbare inzichten
  • Het uitwerken van datamodellen en rapporteringsstructuren
  • Het ondersteunen van business stakeholders bij hun rapporteringsnoden
  • Het bewaken van kwaliteit, performantie en governance binnen Power BI
  • Het samenwerken met data engineers, architecten, analisten en andere IT-collega’s
  • 3-4 jaar ervaring als Data Engineer of Data Analyst binnen een data-omgeving
  • Sterke ervaring met Power BI en DAX
  • Ervaring met dashboarding, visualisaties en rapportering
  • Ervaring met Databricks
  • Kennis van databanken en data modelling
  • Ervaring met programmeertalen zoals Python, Java of Scala voor datastromen en ETL-processen
  • Ervaring met het ontwerpen en implementeren van ETL-processen
  • Ervaring met business analyse is een pluspunt
  • Kennis van Power BI Governance is een pluspunt
