Ben jij een ervaren Accountant met een sterke interesse in financiële analyse, boekhouding en rapportering? Voor onze klant, een toonaangevende Europese organisatie binnen de maritieme sector, zoeken we een GL Accountant/General Ledger Accountant om het groeiende Finance-team te versterken.

Als GL Accountant combineer je een brede verantwoordelijkheid binnen de boekhouding met financiële analyse en ondersteuning van het management. Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van de financiële gegevens en werkt mee aan een efficiënte en professionele Finance-organisatie.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten onder andere:

  • Verwerken en controleren van financiële verrichtingen, waaronder aankoop- en verkoopfacturen, banktransacties en diverse boekingen.
  • Meewerken aan een correcte en tijdige maand- en jaarafsluiting en zorgen dat de boekhouding voldoet aan de geldende richtlijnen.
  • Ondersteunen bij audits, fiscale verplichtingen en financiële controles.
  • Voorbereiden, analyseren en opvolgen van financiële rapporteringen voor Finance en management.
  • Onderzoeken van financiële gegevens met betrekking tot grote projecten en investeringen.
  • Uitvoeren van financiële analyses die bijdragen aan zowel operationele als strategische beslissingen.
  • Fungeren als financieel aanspreekpunt voor collega's en andere interne stakeholders.
  • Identificeren van mogelijkheden om boekhoudkundige en financiële processen te optimaliseren.
  • Je beschikt over een bachelor Accountancy-Fiscaliteit of hebt een gelijkwaardig niveau opgebouwd door relevante werkervaring.
  • Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring binnen een financiële of boekhoudkundige functie.
  • Je hebt een stabiel professioneel parcours en bent klaar voor een rol met verantwoordelijkheid en groeimogelijkheden.
  • Je beschikt over een goede kennis van Excel en kunt financiële gegevens vlot verwerken en analyseren.
  • Je communiceert professioneel en hebt een zeer goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en zelfstandig en hecht veel belang aan correcte financiële informatie.
  • Ook wanneer verschillende deadlines samenkomen, behoud je het overzicht en de nodige rust.
  • Je bent ambitieus, volhardend en pragmatisch ingesteld.
  • Je voelt je goed in een omgeving waarin nog niet alle processen volledig vastliggen en waarin je mee vorm kunt geven aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de Finance-organisatie.
