Voor een internationaal bedrijf in de regio Drongen zijn we op zoek naar een GL Accountant die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en actief meedenkt over hoe het efficiënter kan. In deze rol ga je verder dan de klassieke boekhouding. Je wordt ook een belangrijke schakel in de digitalisering van het bedrijf. Jobomschrijving

Als GL Accountant ben je mee verantwoordelijk voor een correcte en tijdige financiële verwerking binnen de organisatie. Je takenpakket omvat onder andere:

  • Het coördineren van maand-, kwartaal en jaarafsluitingen en de daarbij behorende financiële verslaglegging.
  • Het uitvoeren van complexe en specialistische boekingen, waaronder btw- en loontechnische transacties.
  • Het fungeren als key user binnen projecten voor SAP en andere systemen.
  • Het stimuleren van de verdere digitalisering van de afdeling, met een sterke focus op de inzet van AI.
  • Het toezien op de naleving van interne procedures en het betalingsgoedkeuringsproces.
  • De analyse van financiële resultaten, alsook de rapportage voor diverse interne en externe belanghebbenden.
  • Het onderhouden van constructieve relaties met externe controleurs en instanties.
  • Het coördineren van processen om de financiële administratie te optimaliseren.
  • Het onderzoeken van afwijkingen in processen en data om structurele oplossingen te implementeren.

Must haves

  • Je hebt minstens een bachelordiploma in Accountancy, Finance of Bedrijfseconomie.
  • Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring binnen accounting of finance.
  • Je hebt een sterke kennis van boekhoudkundige principes, fiscaliteit en financiële processen.
  • Je hebt al bewezen dat je projecten kunt trekken en optimalisaties kunt doorvoeren.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en analytisch en weet complexe financiële materie helder uit te leggen.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en weet collega's en stakeholders mee te nemen in veranderingen en verbeteringen.
  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid en voelt je comfortabel in een rol met veel autonomie en impact.
  • Je spreekt naast vloeiend Nederlands ook een woordje Frans of bent bereid om snel Frans te leren.

Nice to haves:

  • Ervaring met ERP-systemen zoals SAP, Microsoft Dynamics of vergelijkbare software is een grote troef.
  • Je hebt grote interesse in digitalisering en AI-evoluties.
