Het verschil wordt gemaakt door leiderschap op de werf, het vermogen om tientallen stakeholders aan te sturen en complexe uitvoeringsorganisaties onder controle te houden. Net daar ligt de kern van deze functie.

Binnen een internationale projectomgeving voor grootschalige industriële installaties vormt Site Operations de laatste en meest zichtbare schakel tussen engineering en een succesvolle oplevering. Mechanische constructie, elektrische installaties, testing en mechanical completion komen hier samen.

Voor de verdere uitbouw van deze organisatie wordt gezocht naar een ervaren Head of Site Operations die niet alleen projecten opvolgt, maar een volledige afdeling leidt, standaarden bewaakt en richting geeft aan internationale uitvoeringsteams. Dit is een rol voor een bewezen leider met aanzienlijke ervaring binnen industriële projectuitvoering, constructie en commissioningomgevingen.

Head of Site Operations - Functieomschrijving:

  • Je stuurt de volledige Site Operations-organisatie aan en bepaalt de strategie, prioriteiten, capaciteit en performantie van meerdere internationale uitvoeringsteams die gelijktijdig actief zijn op verschillende projecten.
  • Je leidt de disciplines Construction, Installation & Precommissioning en grijpt in bij operationele, technische en organisatorische uitdagingen die impact hebben op veiligheid, planning, kwaliteit of budget.
  • Je bouwt een cultuur van Operational Excellence uit waarbij standaardisatie, procesverbetering, veiligheidsbewustzijn en structurele kennisopbouw centraal staan binnen de volledige afdeling.

Head of Site Operations - Profiel:

  • Je beschikt over een Master- of Bacheloropleiding in een technische richting en hebt minstens tien jaar ervaring binnen industriële projectuitvoering, constructie, commissioning of mechanical completion van complexe procesinstallaties.
  • Je hebt aantoonbare leidinggevende ervaring binnen multidisciplinaire organisaties en bent gewend om grotere teams van supervisors, engineers, subcontractors en internationale siteorganisaties aan te sturen.
  • Je combineert sterk strategisch leiderschap met operationele daadkracht en weet ook in uitdagende omstandigheden beslissingen te nemen die projecten en mensen vooruithelpen.
