Vacature Hoofd Museale Zaken 12 oktober 2026 Museum Panorama Mesdag zoekt per januari 2027 een Hoofd Museale Zaken voor 32 uur per week. Museum Panorama Mesdag is het persoonlijke museum van Hendrik Willem Mesdag en Sientje Mesdag-van Houten. Als rijksmuseum beheren en presenteren wij een unieke collectie 19e-eeuwse kunst, met als absoluut hoogtepunt het indrukwekkende Panorama van Scheveningen. Met een eigentijds en veelzijdig tentoonstellingsprogramma verbinden wij verleden en heden, door onze historische collectie te combineren met betekenisvolle tentoonstellingen van hedendaagse kunstenaars. Zo verwonderen, inspireren en verrassen wij jaarlijks een breed publiek met nieuwe perspectieven op kunst, cultuur en samenleving. Als Hoofd Museale Zaken geef je artistiek en inhoudelijk richting aan het museale hart van Museum Panorama Mesdag. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor collectie, collectiebeheer, tentoonstellingen, publieksprogramma, publicaties en museale projecten en geeft leiding aan de afdeling Museale Zaken. De artistieke en inhoudelijke koers stem je af met de directeur-bestuurder; jij zorgt dat die koers wordt uitgevoerd. Wat ga je doen? In deze functie is het artistiek-inhoudelijke werk de hoofdzaak. Van daaruit verbind je inhoud, organisatie en productie: - Strategie, beleid en artistieke koers. Je ontwikkelt mede de visie en het beleid voor Museale Zaken en vertaalt de koers naar doelstellingen, programmakaders en jaarplannen. Je adviseert de directeur-bestuurder over kansen, risico's, prioriteiten en inhoudelijke positionering. - Tentoonstellingen, publieksprogramma en publicaties. Je bewaakt de inhoudelijke kwaliteit, samenhang en herkenbaarheid van tentoonstellingen, collectiepresentaties, publieksprogramma en publicaties en werkt concepten met projectteams uit tot haalbare plannen. - Gastcuratoren en externe deskundigen. Het museum werkt met gastcuratoren. Je stuurt hen, net als auteurs, onderzoekers en restauratore...
