Operator houtbewerking | Wingene

Je hoeft geen schrijnwerker te zijn om graag met hout te werken. Misschien krijg je net energie van een machine die je perfect weet af te stellen, een stuk hout dat millimeterprecies uit de zaag komt of een productieproces dat dankzij jouw oog voor detail vlot blijft lopen. Bij onze klant in Wingene krijg je de kans om met hout én moderne machines aan de slag te gaan. En dat in een familiebedrijf dat al sinds 1952 een stevige reputatie heeft opgebouwd in houtbewerking.

Wat ga je doen? Als operator houtbewerking ben jij degene die ervoor zorgt dat hout op de juiste manier wordt verwerkt. Je werkt met verschillende machines en krijgt een functie waarin techniek, inzicht en een flinke dosis praktisch werk mooi samenkomen

  • Instellen, afstellen en bedienen van houtbewerkingsmachines zoals een zaagmachine, schaafmachine of CNC-machine
  • Bedienen en opvolgen van de opdeelzaag
  • Controleren van het hout tijdens en na de bewerking
  • Meten en bijsturen wanneer een afmeting niet helemaal klopt
  • Ombouwen van de machine bij een wissel van product
  • Kleine technische storing zelf opsporen en eerstelijns onderhoud uitvoeren

Je hoeft dus niet de hele dag aan dezelfde machine te staan. De afwisseling zit in het soort hout, het product en de bewerking. Het eindresultaat? Hout dat later verwerkt wordt in onder meer binnendeur, parket of andere houttoepassing.

Waar ga je werken? Je komt terecht bij een familiebedrijf uit Wingene met meer dan 70 jaar ervaring in hout. Wat ooit begon als houthandel en industriële schaverij groeide uit tot een onderneming die onder meer binnendeuren, parket, houtproducten en toepassingen voor buiten maakt. De combinatie van traditioneel vakmanschap en moderne techniek loopt als een rode draad door de productie.

Ook duurzaamheid krijgt aandacht. Onze klant werkt met FSC®-gecertificeerd hout en kiest bewust voor verantwoord bosbeheer.

  • Je hebt ervaring als operator, bij voorkeur binnen een houtomgeving
  • Ervaring met een opdeelzaag is mooi meegenomen, maar je staat er ook voor open om dit aan te leren
  • Je hebt technisch inzicht en voelt je comfortabel bij het instellen van een machine
  • Je kunt vlot rekenen en afmetingen correct interpreteren
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en ziet wanneer iets niet klopt
  • Je bent bereid om fysiek werk uit te voeren
