OVER TRANSFURANS CHEMICALS

TransFurans Chemicals is al meer dan 50 jaar actief in Geel en gespecialiseerd in biobased chemie. Vanuit onze productiesite verwerken we furfural, afkomstig uit hernieuwbare agrarische reststromen zoals suikerrietbagasse, tot hoogwaardige chemicaliën en derivaten. Onze producten worden wereldwijd toegepast in uiteenlopende markten, waaronder gieterijen, bouw en constructie, composieten, houtmodificatie, farma en cosmetica. Met onze producten dragen we bij aan duurzamere industriële oplossingen. Dat doen we met een ervaren en betrokken team van ongeveer 45 medewerkers, dat trots is op zijn technologische expertise en op de bijdrage die onze producten leveren in diverse toepassingen wereldwijd.

Bij TFC werk je in een gespecialiseerde chemische productieomgeving waar veiligheid, vakmanschap, innovatie en duurzaamheid nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn.

TransFurans Chemicals (TFC) zoekt een HSE Manager die richting geeft aan veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu binnen onze chemische productieomgeving. Je bent het centrale aanspreekpunt voor HSE, vervult de rol van interne preventieadviseur en neemt de verantwoordelijkheden van milieucoördinator op.

Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Managing Director en werkt nauw samen met Operations, Maintenance, Engineering en de andere afdelingen.

WIE ZOEKEN WE?

Je beschikt over:

• een technische masteropleiding, bij voorkeur Chemie, Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen, Industriële Wetenschappen, Ingenieurswetenschappen of gelijkwaardig;

• bij voorkeur Preventieadviseur Niveau I;

• bij voorkeur Milieucoördinator Niveau A, of de bereidheid om deze kwalificatie te behalen;

• relevante ervaring binnen een chemische, industriële of procesomgeving;

• kennis van Belgische welzijns- en milieuwetgeving;

• bij voorkeur ervaring met SEVESO en procesveiligheid;

• een goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels.

Plus: ervaring met HAZOP, LOPA, ATEX, ISO 14001 of ISO 45001.

Je bent een zichtbare en overtuigende HSE-professional die risico’s durft benoemen, mensen kan coachen en ervoor zorgt dat verbeteringen daadwerkelijk worden gerealiseerd.
