The posting

Voor een bouwbedrijf in Lochristi, gespecialiseerd in grondwerken, afbraakwerken, rioleringswerken en omgevingswerken, zijn we op zoek naar een hulpmecanicien.

Het bedrijf beschikt over een uitgebreid machine- en wagenpark dat dagelijks wordt ingezet op verschillende werven. Als hulpmecanicien ondersteun je de vaste mecanicien bij het onderhoud en de herstellingen van dit materieel. Je werkt dus niet enkel aan één type machine, maar komt in aanraking met bouwmachines, vrachtwagens, bedrijfsvoertuigen en ander technisch materiaal.

Als hulpmecanicien zorg je er samen met de mecanicien voor dat het machine- en wagenpark veilig en operationeel blijft. Je taken bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Je voert controles en inspecties uit op machines, voertuigen en ander materieel.
  • Je helpt bij het preventief onderhoud van het machinepark.
  • Je voert voorbereidende werkzaamheden uit voor de mecanicien, zodat herstellingen vlot kunnen worden uitgevoerd.
  • Bij technische problemen help je mee zoeken naar de oorzaak en voer je waar mogelijk zelf herstellingen uit.
  • Je helpt bij dringende en spoedherstellingen, zowel in de werkplaats als wanneer nodig op locatie.
  • Je voert laswerken uit wanneer dit nodig is voor herstellingen of onderhoud.
  • Je werkt met verschillende soorten handgereedschap en technisch materiaal, waaronder persluchtgereedschap, brugtafels en werkputten.
  • Je leest en interpreteert technische schema's en gebruikt deze bij het uitvoeren van herstellingen.
  • Je houdt de werkplaats en het gebruikte materiaal ordelijk en netjes.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de mecanicien en ontvangt opdrachten via een digitaal scherm in de werkplaats.
  • Je hebt een technische opleiding of een eerste relevante ervaring binnen mechanica, alsook een goede basiskennis van mechanica en elektriciteit.
  • Je kan technische schema's lezen en begrijpt de werking van verschillende technische componenten.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring met het onderhoud van machines, vrachtwagens, bedrijfsvoertuigen of ander zwaar materieel.
  • Ervaring met laswerken is een pluspunt.
  • Je werkt gestructureerd en nauwkeurig.
  • Je bent communicatief en werkt graag samen met de mecanicien en collega's.
  • Je neemt veiligheid ernstig en volgt de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften.
  • Je spreekt Nederlands, alsook spreek je voldoende Engels om technische informatie te begrijpen en te communiceren.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B; BE is een pluspunt.
  • Een VCA-Basisattest is mooi meegenomen.
