The posting

Het Laar is een oude Vlaamse naam voor een open plaats, een rustplaats in het bos. Ons woonzorgcentrum wil een rustpunt zijn, een plaats waar mensen elkaar kunnen ontmoeten. Tijden veranderen, ons dorp verandert. Diverse winkels en diensten verdwijnen en deels ook het luisterend oor en de sociale contacten. Ons woonzorgcentrum staat open voor uw vragen en noden, ook in de thuissituatie.

Onze Focus:

- Continue zorg: tijdelijk of vast verblijf in het rusthuis met het accent van kleinschalig genormaliseerd wonen waar huiselijkheid voorop staat.

- Levensbestendig wonen: in onze erkende assistentiewoningen waar u zelfstandig kan wonen maar met dienstverlening op maat zodat een rusthuisopname wordt vermeden.

- Trajectbegeleiding: voor mensen in de thuissituatie: samen met de persoon zoeken we naar de passende dienstverleningen zodat thuis wonen haalbaar blijft.

- Lokaal dienstencentrum: elkaar ontmoeten, ondersteunen en stimuleren: is allemaal mogelijk in ons dorpsrestaurant, bewegings- en wandelclub, ...

Enkele jaren terug namen we onze nieuwbouw in gebruik. Er is een hedendaagse en ruime keuken voorzien, ventilatie en airco is voorzien. Dagelijks worden zo'n 125 maaltijden klaargemaakt. We koken in koude lijn, onze maaltijden worden aangeleverd van onze centrale keuken van onze woonzorggroep 'Mensa' uit Meulebeke.

De maaltijden voor het woonzorgcentrum worden geserveerd in de woonkamers (15 bewoners), de bewoners van de assistentiewoningen kunnen naar het restaurant komen waar ook bewoners van het dorp van een lekkere maaltijd en een gezellig samenzijn kunnen genieten.

Een enthousiaste persoon die graag maaltijden klaar maakt en met voeding bezig is, een hobbykok misschien. Iemand die samenwerkt met collega's en zijn/haar talenten wenst verder te ontwikkelen.

U bent verantwoordelijk voor het keukenproces, een werkschema maakt duidelijk wanneer en wat u moet doen. Je wordt bijgestaan door een keukenhulp en samen zorg je ervoor dat de maaltijden correct en op tijd klaar zijn. In het restaurant portioneer je de maaltijden, die door vrijwilligers worden geserveerd. Wanneer je zelf keukenhulp bent, dan sta je uw collega bij en helpt waar nodig. Het is een afwisselende en uitdagende job.

Je staat er niet alleen voor. Samen met het team, onder leiding van Katleen, onze VVK (verantwoordelijke voeding en kwaliteit) zorgen jullie voor lekkere en met liefde bereide maaltijden. Katleen maakt de uurroosters op en de werkplanning. Bij bijzondere menu's springt ze bij en helpt een handje.

In onze nieuwbouw zijn alle faciliteiten en hedendaagse snufjes zijn aanwezig, er is ventilatie, goede afzuiging en koeling aanwezig voor warme zomerdagen. De infrastructuur is conform alle HACCP regels, orde en netheid staat voorop in onze keuken.

Om de drie weken heb je weekenddienst.
