Je komt terecht bij een toonaangevende speler in de metaalverwerking in regio Torhout, actief in bouw en automotive. Met meer dan 600 collega’s, een internationale groep achter zich en een jaaromzet van ruim €300 miljoen combineert dit bedrijf het beste van twee werelden: de kracht van een wereldspeler en de menselijke aanpak van een KMO.

Tijdens dit starterstraject ontdek je stap voor stap de verschillende afdelingen binnen de productie. Zo leer je het hele proces kennen, werk je mee aan verbeterprojecten en ontdek je waar jouw talenten het best tot hun recht komen. Een traject waarin je groeit in kennis, verantwoordelijkheid en richting, en waar jouw carrière echt vorm krijgt.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je leert de volledige werking van de productieprocessen kennen via een grondig opleidingstraject
  • Je identificeert verbeterkansen op de werkvloer en werkt mee aan projecten rond efficiëntie en optimalisatie
  • Samen met collega’s uit verschillende afdelingen vergroot je je inzicht in het volledige productieproces
  • Je krijgt een eigen project toegewezen dat je zelfstandig uitwerkt, van concept tot implementatie
  • De richting waarin je verdergaat, bepaal je zelf: engineering, productie of een leidinggevende functie
  • Je hebt (bijna) een masterdiploma in elektromechanica, automatisering of een verwant domein op zak
  • Een eerste werkervaring is mooi meegenomen, maar geen must
  • Je denkt analytisch, steekt graag de handen uit de mouwen en gaat met veel nieuwsgierigheid en initiatief op zoek naar oplossingen
